| Because its an AVI file, you probably just havent got the right codec to play it. Try downloading DivX Video Player - DivX Video Codec - DivX Converter and playing it through that player. Its like windows media player but it plays alot more formats... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Allsopp's Poker Life |

| Techsmith codec works on my WMP. I'm 22 mins in. Joose, that Q9 play was terrible. You got a raise UTG to 4x BB and 2 callers. Then you re-raise and say "He can't call without a crazy-good hand." When he does, you call his $20 turn bet? Yes, he checked the flop & the river. But then you say "If that Ace doesn't come, I probably do make a play." Wow! He was playing carefully out of position, but that was a pretty bold statement. Either that whole play was horrible or I'm the weakest, tightest player on earth. Share with us your thoughts on that hand now that you've had a while to think it over. |

| Just finished watching the whole video. Thought you played very good and learned a lot about playing with position and the LAG style you play with. I didnt think the Q9 hand was played badly, I agreed with your analysis of the hand at the end of the video. On a side note i dont know how you move around as quickly as you do, it seems that mouse is clicking 100 times per minute, lol. I thought I was pretty quick doing things on a computer but you have me crushed. |

| That 5 8 hand was fun.....that's definitely something I need to learn. :P Nice video, definitely got something out of it. One thing I didn't understand, why throw away A Q? That seems like a hand I would love to get........ Btw, I live in Memphis Last edited by arkadiy : 12th June 2007 at 7:23 PM. |

aa jj tt 99 etc that's what makes the call +EV. the check behind & cold call on the turn is very scary to aa. he cant call a pot bet on the river with aa without an overfull or a super strong read. Quote:

Anyway, my other question was: Why didn't you have your PAHUD overlay numbers on? Did you turn them off just for the video or do you usually run without them? I noticed you used the popup stats quite a bit. |

| they are on, you just cant see them. keep in mind this is a semi-lag style. i plan on making videos of TAG/LAG/TPP/etc. KQKJ are not calling a massive reraise oop with 3 left to act preflop. the only hands that will call that are ak/tt/jj/qq/99. maybe 8s. aa/kk reraises to isloate. |

Maybe I have a problem with thinking people are sneakier than they are. I've been beat by so many stealth moves that I am weary of everyone doing it to me. Reminds me of when Jennifer Tilly checked down her boat on "Poker After Dark" because she thought Gus Hansen was slowplaying quad Kings. But I still think AA/KK are fully capable of calling your raise and not re-raising PF. Not everyone "isolates" every time. But I'll stay open-minded, Master Joose. I'm only half done with the video, anyway. |

Yeah I could tell you weren't paying too much attention (when you rivered 2 pair with AJ but claimed to be afraid of your opponent having flopped 9s and 5s). Still a fun video though good job. |

| joose man ive got to say, that was an amazing video and I definitely learned a lot. I must say I think one of the biggest leaks in my game is I focus too much on the cards, and I do get very afraid when im betting. The hand I loved was the q-10 with the a-2-a flop. My question was why wouldnt you think he has trips with the 5 dollar bet? I dont remember pot size, and I play 25NL so its a different amount, but I would have definitely been wondering about the aces, and man, the balls to push him all in was just something I need to learn. "that cgl guy, hes not bad, hes just a pussy, I could take him in a fight" LMAO! also, I would love to make a video of one of my own sessions to get some critique from CC members, what software do you use for that? |
