What the hell is Chris ferguson doing playing play money??
I heard he was on an experiment to turn $0 into $10K and thats why he is at lower limits, but play money aint gonna get him anything!!

Assuming this is true, which I don't necessarily assume.

Perhaps it is part of his contractual obligation at FT. THey run ads on tv promoting free poker and 'come play with our pros'. So maybe they need to show up once in a while to keep that ad legit.

That said, perhaps he needs to remind himself just how crazy play money poker is, or he needs to figure out a way to beat the play money players who as a whole are much looser than Gus Hansen.

Or maybe he suffered such a horrible bad beat it affected him so deeply he was throw back to his own personal dark ages.

Maybe, but playing 1000/2000 and with play chips only selling at $1 for every 100K, it will probs take a loooong time to sell them for a decent amount.

Maybe he just wanted to play without the hassel or stress of it being for money. You know, like when Tiger Woods just goofs around on the golf course.

I had the oppertunity to play agaist the Jesus in $10 Razz last week. He did not happen to cash in that howevewr yours truely the Pool did manage to finish third. Chris is attempting to build a $0 dollar bankroll into $ 10,000 and is cronicleing the journey in the full tilt forum. Check it out at full til poker. He plays in free rolls, his own named $1 buy in ( The Ferguson) and other, at this time buy in's. Thus my fortuneate run in with him at $10 Razz.

As part of his sponsorship agreement with FTP, Ferguson (and others) are required to put in some time at the play tables. Part of the "chat with the pros" promo.

chris plays with low-limit more than any other pro though. he and phil ivey are probably the most that frequent low limits (outside of semi-pros that are at the lowish pro limits)
