Investing in Pokertracker
hi guys,
im just an average player. mostly i make modest wins, as well as losses but i really want to step it up and have poker finance my play time expenses rather than my job finance my play time expenses. im about to put a, again, modest deposit because i decided to try and play a little more now. but i was wondering if pokertracker and all their additions will help me out at all. its pretty expensive for a college kid so im kinda so-so on buying it yet really want it to improve...any suggestions? im thinking to play until i make profit and use it to buy pokertracker...or just buy it outright ![]() |

The single best decision you could make.
People who may say that it doesn't help either haven't used it or don't understand what to do with it. There aren't many absolutes in poker but this is one of them ![]() |

Download the trials of both Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker 3. Use them both before making your decision. PT3 is still going though some major growing pains while HM has been out for a bit longer and is more stable. For micro players (up to 50NL) HM is also cheaper.

i was visiting the website and reading poker blogs regarding PT and its my understanding that you have to buy extras for the real-time stats on your opponents? at the PT website it has an extra that datamines the opponents hands even when you arnt playing thus giving you stats? that sounds extremely useful...hmm...^^
