| Jeez what an insane issue. Typical hypocrisy in government. And what're they going on about saying internet gambling is unethical? What I think is "unethical" is how they sneaked in the UIGEA within the ports bill. I think eventually capitalism will solve this issue and It'll be legalized. At least I hope. | scary The whole situation is a scary. Between the religious right imposing their morality and the government happy left trying to get into our homes I don't know how there will ever be a resolution to the issue. What's really sad is that the majority of Americans fall in the middle of these 2 groups and are seemingly powerless to do anything about. Maybe its not even that we are powerless so much as we are apathetic. |

| re: Interesting article on Antigua trade dispute in WTO poker I know many people had been disapointed by the efforts of the PPA in the past. However there have been some positive changes recently, and more to come. The board has backed the new vision of the new Exec. Dir. who plans to make the PPA the true grassroots it should have been from the start. For those of you who may have given up on the PPA, I would suggest you at least consider looking in on the site from time to time. You might be as I was happy with the changes. D$D |
