Thought it was an interesting read. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/12/nyregion/12poker.html I think that idea has some promise but at the same time...I can't see it flying in a whole lot of "conservative" geographic areas. |

It only makes sense. The first paragraph, or so, spells it out. And I quote "They argue that the game, which is probability-based and requires risk assessment, situational analysis and a gift for reading people, can be an effective teaching tool, whether for middle school math or in business and law classes." They also mention the games ability to peak the interest of younger people. I say again, it's just common sense.
