The Answer to this topic requires a harsh lesson in reality!!! Poker Addiction is a REAL disease..there are thousands of credit cards available with poker/gambling site restrictions on them...hence the e-passport, e-wallet, etc...they are all just back doors to spend your good credit at the felt!! Think logically, they are restricted by creditors b/c the world is already in debt to them..the point is "like ANY drug addiction anyone has ever experienced..the answer to the question of quitting when faced with higher priorities is simply this...U don't know for sure until your staring down the barrell of that loaded gun in the blink of an eye...and one other item as food for thought....imagine the number of people out there, identical to any addict toward any drug...arent't currently and maybe never will face the reality of just how hooked they really are..trust me kids, cars, homes, families, etc...these are second nature to thousands this second and they aren't even aware...!!! Hit me up if this blog/dose of reality for all who read, makes sense or awakens the reality demon in anyone who reads this....good luck,,,and logoff if your losing that bad man...ante up tomorrow

I would say "no". Only because there is plenty of poker out there to play for free. One has to be able to distinguish between a Poker addiction and a gambling addiction. A gambling addiction will make you poor and hungry real quickly. A Poker addiction will just cause you to get divorced...

haha, house payment? Why would I chose a house over poker? But in all seriousness of course I'd quit playing for money if I had to choose between a necessity and poker. Poker is fun for me, I always make sure before I walk in the door of where I'm going to play that I can afford to lose all the money I have in my pockets at the time. Doesn't mean I'd like it if I did, but I have enough that I can walk away with nothing, and still have enough to come back and play the next day. If it came to the point where that money was the last of it and I lost it, I wouldn't be playing poker anymore. Just like it's not good to risk all your money on 27o it's not good to risk money you can't afford to lose. It's just bad money management.

Well other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, what did you think of the play? |

I never play with more than I can afford to lose. I currently can't afford to fund my online games so I play freerolls. While the regular freerolls can get very irritating to play, when you stick it out and play smart you can always get started on the bankroll again.
