idea

ive seen a few videos, by members here showing sng play and others.

now an idea ive seen before is to set up a gmae between 6 CC members, each one records and talks about decisions made etc. then all post the videos and discuss what happens.. will take a bit of planning but im sure something like this is possible.. any thoughts?

Hmm... that sounds very interesting. I too would like to see something like that happen. 6 CCers, in a 6 Max SnG all filming their screens and discussing their decision making and everything as the tournament progresses, it would really give an insight into the decision process.

Yeah I think that'd be pretty cool...IF I did it, I would be the "that's right I bluffed you, you son of a bitch" type of talker. My favorite line to say is "Yeah, muck 'em, bitch!"

I'd be interested in participating in a cash game version of this (I personally prefer 6max, but FR is ok w me too) or a setup 9 player SnG (I suck at SnG's, but whatever).

A few players tried this last year, and I think there's a vid from a couple of years ago like this. The idea last year was to get all participants to send their hh's to one player who would tie them all together. I skimmed NineLions' vid archive thread a couple of days ago and thought I saw something...

The feedback from last year, though, was that play was extremely abnormal because it was a setup game between CC members - so abnormal that it wasn't worth analyzing if I remember right.

ok well i think if we can get 6 willing players, i think 9 will be too many. we should at least attempt it.. ill be willing to put my hand up for this, ive been wanting some feedback on my play anyways...

now i think the program for recording screen and voice is camtasia? does anyone know of any free program that can do similar or perhaps camtasia has a trial version?

So now al we need is 5 more players, willing to log on at a predetermined time. play for around 2 hours, and talk about what they are thinking, etc..

would be really good to get a good mix of players, you guys will be new to me, would be good to get a few players together who have played each other before.. to see how that affects your decision making.

anyways ill leave it to you guys CC, if there is 5 willing participants then i can organise it.

Sng could be harder, id prefer doing a cash game, much easier to get a full game going, Unless someone can contact pokerstars about setting up a password 6 or 9 max SNG, i think sng will be a little less interesting than actually playing cash and having to play flops.. rather than, "im shoving this because the guy on my left has only 8 bb's and his calling range is super tight" with sng, its generally going to be the same decisions over and over.. with cash, i think it wil be more complex and more interesting as well..

I watched this kind of videos. It was a HU game but it was interesting to know what the players think about each other at the same time. :-)

Sounds great but I don't know how one videos their play....do you need special equipment? Wally
