i won todays freeroll.

After a long and hard 3 hours i finally came out of todays freeroll at paradise poker i started it off pretty well being the chip leader for about 30 minutes intell i went all in with another guy who beat me with a higher flush i was one of the short stacks for a while but i wasnt losing or winning i became one of the top chip leaders in the tourney again but lost it all and was down to my last 700 chips but i dont go down easy i went all in with AA and the guy called me with kk the flop was 2h 3c 10c river Kc so he had a set but i had the A of clubs and needed the river to be a club and i got it. the finale table was very good i was in about 7th with 7,000 chip with the chip leader at about 24,000 i new i had to double up if i wanted to have a chance so i went all in with to 10s and got a call and won with the set next hand i floped a flush A high and the guy who went all in had K high and i was finally the chip leader. it came down to me and Mya321 from paris she is a really nice player and very tricky we were going back and forth taking the chip leader from each other i was about 6,000 chips up on her when she went all in i had QJ suited and had to call she had 2 2s and made her set i only had 6,000 chips to her 80,000 but i didnt give up i kept on doubling up intell i was chip leader once again and she went all in i had K8 suited which i wouldnt play normally but i was tired and i new i had a good chance because it was just me and her she had K6 a 8 9 10 of hearts poped up and then a K and so she needed a 6 to put me down really bad but if she didnt get it i would win the tourney the next card was a 4 and i was so happy to win well thanx for reading my story and good luck to all of you in the next tourney hope to see you there

That is really good, especially since you came back a few times from big losses. It is also the longest sentence ever written

Well done mate, that was painful to read though! Try spacing out your posts in future so they are a bit easier to read

To be down 13/1 heads up with chip leader and win is a very good accomplishment

Not to be negative, Congrats on your win impressthekid, but can we please stop posting about tournament wins!

I know you are happy and ecstatic you won a tournament and an ok chunk of change, but it comes off like you are bragging.

When I won a freeroll I didn't come back here an post how I won and try and gain some congratulatory remarks. Again, I'm not trying to downplay your win...good job, but can we please stop posting "self-esteem" booster threads.

If you win $5000 in a $10+$1 rebuy on PokerStars or something...then go ahead and post, but for the little freeroll stuff can we keep this to a minimum?

Bragging not all bad

Before I say this, I cant stand people who think they need to brag. I myself am not that way. I can see what your saying about bragging, but surely even if it is a "little freeroll tourny", why would you not want to share your success with your fellow poker players. Winning a freeroll or money tournament is a good success story. I havnt been on this site for that long and maybe there is too much bragging going on. Just personally, I dont think it is too bad a thing. You can either read it or not. Not trying to start anything, this is just my view. Congrats impressthekid.

If you can't brag here amongst your peers, where can you? If you read some of the previous threads you will see alot of bragging and good for those who are able to do it. Alot of the players here are exceptionally good and to win one from these players is a feat worthy of bragging about.

Well I think it just adds a little something to make it a little more interresting to others. Guess I have to be a little bit different than some. I really enjoy poker and going on line to learn more about poker and how others play. Theirs a lot to learn here if you want to further your education on poker it's all right here for a person. I've found quiet a few think their called seems like all they want to do is go all in till they get caught and it's off to another "freeroll", what their problem is but wish they would just play cards and grow up. Don't take too many brains to go all in a lot of times and usually they don't get that much money. Well got to run, hope to see you at the tables some time, till then good luck and good cards.

For someone with "PokerStars Freeroll #1 Winner" under your name this message strikes me as a bit hypocritical
