I'm not going to say either way, it's your choice. You're a good poker player and you've got a shot to win a lot more money. On the other hand, make sure you're ok with losing $200. It's real money, regardless of how you won it. It's your decision to make.

It's your money, but I'd say don't do it.

I've won similar sums in MTTs and they are necessary to sustain you through the crushing variance.

1k goes very quickly if you play even the $33s and above if you are not careful.

Play a few satellittes instead would be my advice and qualify for next week that way.

You worked hard for the cash don't blow it.

Well since according to the title you do want to play, I say go for it. As long as when your AA gets busted by 77 and you lose your $200 entry fee you don't go on tilt and hit the high limit tables or enter another high-stakes tourney.

If you're strong enough to only do it the once, go for it, otherwise don't...

but is it really going to be just a one time thing? slippery slope imo, poker is littered with donkament players who've hit big scores then donated it all back in the following few weeks.

Right choice IMO, if just for one try, its well worth it, plus a chance at another huge score

That is soooooo me .

Okay, time's up and I've registered taking everything into account that you've all said. Rex is obv a rounded tourney grinder so advice is most relavent, but I decided I can take this one shot and withdraw less into the real world.

Ty all, keep posting opinions if you want as well.

First of all. Good luck in the tourney, I've played these a fair bit and the key is to stick to your game but adapt to the deeper stacks and better structure.

Forget about the money, it's done now so give it your best.

I'll happily talk to you about my bankroll management in relation to whatever funds you leave on line, but for now glglglglgl.

I'd be careful about the chat identifying you as scared money.

ok I know I said nice on that table but that was an interesting play with 42. Call a raise and then check it down when you hit bottom pair? Also I'm assuming decent players so the image comment in the chat probably shouldn't have happened. They noticed the 42 and put in their notes "total donk, called preflop raise with 42 and then checked it down". You want that image, but when you say it's about image you appear like a smarter player. Also I apologize I probably shouldn't have put the lol in that comment, I'll stop chatting for now unless it's just strictly a nh or something.

You'll notice that I open-limped from ep with 42s, then the next time I open limped in ep (appearing all donkish and shiz) I like totalz 3-bet pf (had KK). That crazy 42 hand did have a purpose although obv I coudn't have hoped for exactly that .

With the 42 all eyes will indeed be focussed on you

I'm not aware of sats to this? Which means that unlike the Sunday Mill which has ton of donks, they have all at least got the money to buy-in direct.

Doesn't mean they are good but the fish quotient should be lower.

Right, but you needed a cheap showdown which you got. Not a horrible play, I just didn't like the comment at the end that it was about image. You want to look like a donk, a donk does not talk about table image in a tournament. Again partly my fault for the comment.

I hear what you are saying Jake, but against decent opposition they will not assume that you have nothing when you play, as anyone can pick up a hand. If I saw you play the 42 so passively (with no cbet after calling pf rase) then when you woke up post flop on another hand I'd expect you to have something decent.

Good start though
