Process Your Thoughts

Steps include: 1st you have to have the $$$...you have the time that would be 2nd. 3rd you have to practice practice practice....having the experience necessary before you start going to the casinos to play those people who do it everyday is key. Online is the best way to get your practice in. Get some experience & a fat roll of $$$ & you'll be set to start your goal. GL @ the tbls.

Have you:

got at LEAST a 10K bankroll?
got literally hundreds of thousands of hands worth of experience?
got a consistent winrate or ROI over those hands?
conquered tilt completely?
got the patience and discipline to sit in front of a computer and play your A-game for like 8 hours every day?

I think if the answer to any of these is no, you shouldn't be even considering it. I really don't mean to be a downer or be rude, but they say that most (prob >%90) of players who try to play full-time go broke, and judging by your past posts, you're probably not one of the lucky %10. And neither am I :/

I think a much better approach to playing for a living would be playing 1/2 the day. Have a steady, decent-paying job and play poker on the side for spending cash. That's my plan anyway.

if you plan on trying to do poker ONLY for a living...then the most important thing is this....make sure that you have enough money (seperate from BR) to pay ALL of your bills for ATLEAST 6 months! that way if your BR goes bye bye..you still have enough to live on for 6 months!!!
