I need help with my Epassporte....

I signed up and entered my credit card and amount that I wanted to deposit. It then took me to a screen that said I need to deposit at least $25 to activate my account and showed my Credit Card as unverified. I never got the option to verify and never got the small deposit on my statement.

Do I just wait or did I not actually deposit yet? I cant get though the toll-free# so I'm lost.

I have same problem - signed up last week and still no deposit and they won't return my emails to customer service.

Starting to think I'll never get to play online for real money again.

Bummer.

This seems to be typical amoung new players signing up for epassporte lately. I think the most logical reason for the delay is that they're probably getting blasted with Americans trying to open up new accounts with them after C2P bailed. Unfortunately, I've also read that CS is not a strength of epass so that could add to your frustration in the short term

I'm going to do the prepaid visa thing. Was going to try EPassporte for easy withdrawing but it's not seeming to be very easy. If it's this hard to give them money then it has to be horrible to take it back.

It won’t work with credit cards if you’re an US resident - you will have to link you bank account. It will take abut 7-10 days for the verification deposits to show up.

The prepaid visas do work - worked for me on Full Tilt - make sure you get the one from gift2go - theres a 5.95 transaction fee

Epassporte worked for me with a credit card and i'm a us resident. I set up the account and verified the credit card right away. I even downloaded a new site last night and did it again with the same credit card which makes me think I'm lucky because many people seem to be having problems.

lucky maybe...

A hint on epassporte - the "small deposit" amounts may never show up in your bank account. Some US banks have already said they will not accept incoming money from the epassporte system, because the new US law is unlcear whether this constitutes an illegal act (banks are not allowed to directly participate in funds transfers to or from poker sites, but it's not clear if they are allowed to do so through a 3rd party)

Having said that - I got my bank account verified by, literally, picking out two random amounts from the drop-down menu they have to verify the account. Unless I am incredibly luck (1 in 900 or so), I'm guessing anything will work if you try it. It certainly can't hurt.

Now I'm waiting the "7 days" for my funds deposit to go through...

is that different from a regular visa gift card you can get from any bank?
I thought those were linked to the bank account and issued by Visa USA, so they wouldn't work?

I'm not sure exactly how it works. I bought mine at the grocery store because some said on another thread that it works. You might need to go to the website and put your name and zip code but thats it.

I have an alright bankroll at PS so i'm basically looking for more of an option for withdraws.

I did a "test" withdrawl for $50 by check from PS about 3 weeks ago and still haven't got it yet. So, i'd really like to find a more immediate way of cashing out if life deemed it so. My bank said that they were going to allow transactions as long as possible so i'd really like to find a way to EFT the $ right to my bank.

Call me crazy but my concern with getting an epassport account set up would be when I decide to withdraw, not deposit. The gift to go cards or any atm card with a visa/mastercard logo should be enough to get you started if that's all you're looking to do. Personally, I still want some BR flexibility

Was listening to a program on Sirius satellite radio sponsored by Allin poker magazine. Don't know anything about the magazine itself but one of the hosts commented that Poker Stars hopes to have it's own version of Neteller set up within the next 7 days. Anyone else heard about this?

I actually heard some grumblings about this on another poker forum. From what that site said, this was in the works for when the law officially went into effect but has now been pushed up b/c of the Neteller situation.

The way I'm looking at it is if putting money on Epassporte is this hard taking it off should be a hell of a lot worse. PokerStars cashouts via check are seeming to take a while but still going through OK...and they're probably more trustworthy.

With my recent adventer with ePassporte was waiting the complete 7 day max(they said 5-7 days) to get the account verified.
Now all i have to do is WAIT another 7 days to be able to reload my Poker Stars Account.
So i guess the key words with ePassporte are Please Wait, Your money will eventually get into your account.
Granted this process is slower than we would like, but we have Very Few Options left to us here in the States.

Ed, I did read on another board that it actually took 12 days for that initial deposit to hit. So like you said, you may just have to be patient..

I just did a bank transfer of my funds at Mansion and it seemed to go smoothly... haven't checked on the bank side yet but all I had to do on the Mansion side was input my bank account number and routing number, and get them a copy of my driver's license for verification. I'd be surprised if Stars didn't offer a similar method to withdraw. I don't use my main bank account for such purposes but a secondary account I originally set up to use with PayPal.

I do the same as far as just using a secondary account, I've never linked my "main" bank acount with any of the e'wallets since I've started playing.

Does anyone know where to check your account balance on this dang site?

I waited, they withdrew funds from my bank,( I see it on my online statement)......and now I am.....

#1. just waiting for the funds from my bank to hit epassporte (7 days I think is what they said and I'm not sure how long it's been.....)

or

#2. can't find the dang account balance screen........
every time I hit the "my account" tab it tells me that I still need to load my account????

I have already done this as far as I can tell but this is the only screen I get to.
Am I just jumping the gun or can someone help me please????

Well, my deposits finally came through (about 2 1/2 weeks). I was able to verify my account (couldn't use Credit Card...site says some banks won't allow their cards to be used) so I used my bank acct info.

Verfied it today and deposited $50, now just waiting up to 7 days for it to load.

Thanks US Gov't...Neteller was sooo convenient...but I guess that's the point of this assault on them.

Same thing with me - I see my bank posted the eft on 2/2/06 - about 2-3 days after I requested it. So Today is my 1 week, I checked in the morning before I left for work and it was still the same way - so hopefully by tonight I be ok. Once the funds come in - my account tab should work - hopefully.

ePassporte....WOW

Guess I should have come here first.

Started ePassporte process well over 2 weeks ago.

Signed up, verified...blahblah

Took my money from checking account within 3 business days....yes 3!

Account History as of now still stating PENDING. Supposed to be available yesterday. Tried to contact...nothin but busy signals...no response from emails (multiple sent).

Yikes hit the big SCAM I think. Willing to write it off because I really want to get back online and play, but I dont want anyone else to go through this total lack of compitence(sp) website.

Argh......just want to get back to playin!

Why would anyone continue to tolerate the redonkulusness that is e-passporte is beyond me.
1. At BEST they are too slow to be tolerable.
2. At worst they will go the way of Neteller at any time and you will just straight out lose your money. That being said I don't think it is (currently) a "scam".
3. Their fees are beyond the realm of reasonable. Fee to upload money, fee to move money, fee to withdraw money, etc.

For deposits: visa gift cards: www.allaccessgift.com
For withdrawal: paper checks

Clearly e-pass is not going to provide any "bankroll flexibility."

I have to agree ePassport is garbage as I went to set up an account it told me that my IP address wasn't an American one. While others sites were refusing me because of that.

The one thing that I was surprised about was the visa prepaid. I tried that myself, but it didn't work does anyone know if its has something to do with which type I used. I just went to the store and tried one of these vanilla ones and it won't work can someone who did it successfully give me a link showing me a picture or link to the site that sold you one. I am getting really tired of playing the underground.

www.allaccessgift.com visa cards work (for sure)-- the web site will help you find the nearest retailer, and you may be able to buy them online. Fee is around five buck on top of the value of the card, and you have to register them to use them for online transactions. But all in all a very simple process.

Ok now I know where to go, but any thing else you could tell me would be helpful. Does it matter if it’s reloadable, all access, ect. The more I know the better because I really don't want to put on $500-$600 on a card that goes bust. Because I tried this with a vanilla (US only) prepaid and it didn't work. Luckily I did it for a miniscule amount. So if you can just give me more or less the exact kind you used I would be thrilled.

I had the same problem with a prepaid card called "Green Dot". Didn't work at Full Tilt. The GreenDot support said that the request never came through, while FTP support said it was denied.
As far as Epassporte is concerned, the fees may be high, but I was up and running in about 20 minutes.

I used the All-Access Visa Gift Card. I dont know if the reloadable ones work or not. Most Walgreens, CVS, SafeWay and Giant Eagle stores are supposed to have them. Here the Walgreens doesnt and one of out two Giant Eagle stores has them. The card is supposed to be active in about 10 minutes, takes about 30 seconds to register with you address and phone #, and was applied to my PokerStars account instantly.

As for EPassporte...the verification deposits never did go through. Good thing I didn't wait on it.

RammerJammer posted saying that he could load his epassporte account and then deposit at FT before the $$$ actually hit his epassporte account.....
at least I think thats what he said (lost the OP).
Does that mean it's similar to the way instacash used to work?
Does that apply to Stars as well?
