I love pokerstars...

Logged on this morning to have a bash at the Hubble freeroll, and got a nice message saying they had credited my account with $5 for me to play with.

So not being the sort to refuse an offer, I took them up on it and decided to play in the micro stakes ring games 1/2 cents

Within 3 hours my balance is as follows...

No, I just play a freeroll and never close things down...

I sometimes do get myself in a mess when I've got 5-6 tables all going at once. Mind you, I find when I play on impulse as opposed to having time to think I do better...

Congratualtions for your $5; I like play more in Sit'n go that in micro stakes games, I cannot play many tables at the same time because of it I prefer Sit'n that tables of cash (full-ring).

I was just reading how SavagePenguin set an artificial goal of $50 when he started out and went broke chasing it. Don't worry about that, it will come and go if you keep winning. You're off to a good start, don't move up stakes too fast and it should last, good luck.

Pokerstars just gave you $5? That's cool. I haven't deposited into Pokerstars in about a year, so I doubt they'll pass $5 my way!

Well usually this is when they send you money. They try to use the $5 as an enticement that will get you to deposit some more money . they are sneaky sneaky people....well....not really lol but yeah that is what they do. Good luck

That's exactly what I did. I deposited $12, made $42.xx profit in the $.01/$.02 ring 6-max games in a couple days, then blew it *all* over the following two days in an attempt to prove something and make a $50 profit.

Trying to get that last $7.xx to reach my superficial/meaningless goal cost me my $54.xx bankroll.

Pokerstars has given me 5$ twice, and I've never deposited anything. However, I have generated over 30$ in rake for them, so I guess it was a good scheme

I wish Full Tilt did something like this. I remember PokerStars giving me $5 like a few months ago when I hardly knew anything about the game and I blew it on sit n goes.

Playing solely on the micro 1/2 cent tables.

If I can get it up to $50 then I may step up to the 2/4 cents, but as things are going I am happy just building it up nicely.
