I'll never understand...

Im not complaining, cause i won a lot of money on this hand but.....

I had KK raised preflop, two callers, flop comes out K 8 10. first guy checks next bets 5 bucks, i of course call and other guy folds. next card is an Ace, i get slightly worried he has pocket aces, but im sort of on tilt so dont pay much attention to it. he bets another 5 i raise to 15 he calls and is all in.

He shows Pocket 5's.....Im happy and all but, HOW THE HELL CAN SOMEONE DO THAT!!?!. i mean, on that board, with my raises, and...i just......ill never understand it....but at least i won w00t.

EDIT: btw i bought in for 7 dolars at that table and am now up to 75....im finally winning at bodog

Well, he was first to act and you just called. I know you were slowplaying but there could have been a flush draw (Don't since you didn't tell us what the suits were). I sure if you raise his bet he would fold. He doesn't know you're slowplaying (a good poker player should at least keep that in mind) and since you didn't raise he figured you don't have a pair.

I had a guy like that on a table with me last night (wish I always did). He would preflop raise any pocket pair and call down to the river no matter the texture of the board. My guess is that these are just beginners that just don't understand the game quite yet. The pp looks so good when it's dealt to them that they forget about everything else.

I really don't know, but I like it.

Yesterday..Sort of on tilt was dealt 44 and everyone folded around me to it was heads up. So I go all in for like 60$ I get called..wow did that scare me..lol. And he had AQ I took the player for 60$ on my 44 because no AQ were on the board..I think if ur gonna play pp. You should at least play it hard. to make sure ur not beat up when you run up agianst kings ur just screwd anywys lol..or Like my jacks to aces yesterda.y. that's how I play it....especially when on tilt GL.

Bodog is fun like that. people complain about getting cracked with this or that but if your gonna make money on AA anywhere its there. I swear almost without exception i get action on my monsters.

sometimes i sit and play guitar and just auto fold and glance over once in a while. sometimes it will cost me a few bucks over a the course of a session but when i get KK or AA or AK and go all in, 2 or 3 callers!

Barely ever need to watch most of the time. it does hurt a little when i auto fold QQ because i didnt get to the checkmarkbox fast enough but sometime im glad i missed the opportunity to bust.

Granted most of the time i play sit and go and tourny and i pay very close attention in these games.
