I just won a satellite into the sunday warmup I was wondering what I should do to prepare myself for this tournament. This is the biggest and most expensive tournament I have ever played online. I am a pretty good poker player live and online but I'm not too sure how good I will do at this level because I haven't played at this level online before. What should I be looking out for and is the competition as tough as I'm believing it is going to be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is that the $50 entry? go into it like it isnt such a big deal for you... and play your game... dont let the fact that this is a big buy in tournament cloud your judgement... and there are still bad players in these tournaments, but yes there are also some very good players too.. good luck, should be a good learning curve.

Well it is, because regardless of what you think, at the moment you have $t (money that you can use to enter any tournament) worth $215. Its like saying that if you win $10,000 in a $20 MTT, hey look its only $20, its not its ten thousand. Its up to yourself, by all means give it a go. I would suggest however that the field in the sunday million is softer than the warmup, I would play that instead. A lot of the players in both games have gotten in via sattys, so you will get a lot of scared money especially around the bubble, you will get your fair share of fish, and a few more serious players. Just play standard TAG and you just might lucksack a high finish. GL |

My biggest piece of advice is that if you think you are going to be playing scared or thinking about how much the buy-in is, then you should unregister and play tourneys that are more around your comfort level with regards to buyins. Otherwise you are going to be playing scared the whole tournament and that will surely affect your game negatively. Unless you feel comfortable playing it, you should get out. If you have no problem with the buy-in, good luck and give it a try.

id personnally reccommend unregistering....imo...if your play 3 dollar sats and stff, then on a regular basis this is WAY out of your league...just imagain if u nregsterdd....youd have the br fr 70 of these(give or take)...and if u think ur good enough for the big tourney, then ur deffo good enough to win at least 1 o these 70, likely more... i know that you didnt come here to be told to noy play it...but if ur serious about br and poker long time...think about nregistering...you might think its only one occasion, bt it affects u for s long itme

re: I just won a satellite into the sunday warmup poker No offense, but: - Be prepared to lose your buyin's worth. Even being one of the better MTT pros, you shouldn't even reach cash something like %80 of the time. - If the $215 entry fee is significant to you, consider selling it on 2p2's $W/$T marketplace where you can chop it for %99.5 of the price. - Otherwise if you feel like gambling with $215, go right ahead and have fun It's a pretty soft tourney for it's calibre, and if you can make it remotely deep you can pad an extra few thousand to your roll which could be nice.

i would say unregister and take the tourny dollars. the sunday warm up and sunday million hv around 5k peeps sunday million has more. a good tourny i would suggest is the $11 nl 20k or the $11 @21:15. i like the 21:15 tounry cuz in has only 1300-1600 people instead of 6000. but whatver u decide its ur decision. gl if you play

yea if i was you i would cash it out and play something that is more supported by your bank roll. Because at that level and you know it is to expensive for you you will not play the way you normally play to get their. You will either be to tight afraid you will mess up or you will over estimate the people you are playing and think they will always try moves. It is a bad combination i am saying unregister and turn that into 10 other tourneys instead. But if you do go for it good luck and win the millions

You say you are a good live player, so you are doing something right. I say life is too short. If you unregister then you're not going to know how good you are. Play in the tourney. Find out how good you are. If you qualified once for this tourney you could certainly do it again for $3. Good luck.

Congrats on winning a seat AlexA1986! I'm not really able to address your OP request on how to prep for this since I haven't played @ that level either (yet). You might conduct a 'Search' on the topic ('Search' is located next to the 'Log Out' option) for some insight since some of the CC members, who may have played this tourney, may have also posted his/her experience(s) with the tourney? GL.

I know its probably very exciting but don't pump yourself up too much about it. I do that a lot when I get into big tourney's and it really messes me up the day they finally roll around and i'm playing in them. Just try to keep your cool is what i'm saying.

| Like everybody else, I would would suggest unregistering. Great win to get into the warmup, but the odds of you going deep against a decent quality field is slim, so take the T$! Although on the other hand, the gambler in me is saying, go for it. The chance of winning a big check is always in the back of peoples heads, and usually has the most control. Its your money, so do what you think is right, but knowing that you were playing $3 sats, leads me to believe that $200ish is a big increase in your bankroll. Hope I could help, Goodluck either way!
