High stakes HU on Full Tilt.

I wish I could get the HH to get all the details, but it was something like a $50K pot.

I think the other guy was like aejones? who went AI after the flop and Juanda called. It was something like a $20K call.

aejones turns over A's and Juanda turns over 8's, and a A hit on the river.

Man, that's a bunch o'cash.

Did Juanda have a set? Assuming since other guy had to hit an A that he had a set but you didn't mention it.

Nope.

I thought the call was a tad loose.

ETA: I see where you would think he had a set from the way I explained it, but I mentioned the A on the river in that it wasn't a 8 which of course would have given Juanda the pot.

WOW, 20k call with 88 postflop without a set? Unless the blinds were like 10k/20k and that was just calling a min-bet that's pretty crazy. Was the flop unders and maybe he put the other guy on just overs? If so he was right, the overs just happened to have the same letter on them .

That's why I wished I had the HH to be specific, because I was kind of working and kind of watching. Should have taken a screenshot when I had the chance.

I can't say exactly what the flop was, but I know it was pretty blank.
