How about a book of internet tells......?

1. Takes a long time to bet. This player is either A;Trying to hide his wired Aces or B; has been called away from the computer by his wife as it is time to put the trash out.

2.Check raises on the turn after AAA flop and then a 4. This player either has the other Ace, has a 4 or is a typical play chip internet player going all in on 2-6.

Please feel free to contribute Nos 3 through 100.

Learn the tells and start betting against the player instead of the cards!

I have to admit, I have been busted a million times though not knowing when trash day is....but hey, I'm learnin!

Ahhh You can get a feel for a player if you sit at the same internet table long enough, but its not like you can see him shakin in his boots when he bluffs. Although its pretty easy to tell when a weaker player is bluffin after you call his flop bet, their turn bet will usually be smaller than the flop bet. I would be very careful about calling check raises though very rarely do I run into a check raise that is a bluff by a decent player

While an idea, I don't think there is enough content there for a whole book, Internet texas holdem has some info on internet tells though.

And I was trying very hard to come up with an intelligent respectful response without really saying I have never come up with a "tell" that covers most internet players.

um..there already is a book about Internet Tells...my friend bought it and said it was so bad and didnt have any tells until the last two chapters...worthless
