I'm addicted to Razz poker.

Seriously I feel like I've found my calling, I'm gonna be a pro razz player...anyone else like the game, and or have any tips to perfecting it?

Razz is great for us folks that get such lousy hands. Now if they would just switch to Razz in the big money tourneys!

Exactly! So anyways, what is the strategy to follow, I haven't looked into it much, I usually just play if my 3 cards are all 8-under...and go from there.

I like playing razz, my strategy is also playing 8-and lower. On pokerstars they have some good razz tourney's. GL

I'm actually pretty good at razz myself. As well, I tried out badugi and I seem to be pretty decent also. To be honest I just think anything poker and I rock.

I like razz more then stud and i'm pretty decent at it. But i prefer to play it in mixed games like horse or something then on it's own cause otherwise it will become too boring....

Depending on the boards, soft 9s and hard 8s are playable, only soft 7s are premium, but razz has a lot to do with what is showing, like stud.

YES I love Razz too! It really is an easy game to make money, lots of bad players play. However it's the easiest game that can put you on tilt, so gotta be careful and control yourself

im ok at razz lol i like it a bit ..
but get like kj9 as my 1st cards all the time lol
but in hold em i get 2 4 ...

Razz is awesome! I hope to get crappy low cards everytime I play it...who wouldve thought of that?

I saw Jennifer Harman on Poker After Dark. She was ask to list her favorite poker games in order. She mentioned Razz somewhere in there. But what was funny was that she said her least favorite game is No Limit Hold'em.

No wonder she never looks like she's having fun.

I only like the Razz freeroll in which I can sit back, do something else, and only play the premium hands - I don't seem to have, otherwise I patience otherwise. I like the one on FT, but haven't placed yet.

I've said (kidding) if I can't find a razz game, I just burn myself with a cigerette and get the same feeling as playing razz,,,, altho losing at razz hurts longer.

I'm not surprised, her claim to fame has always been Limit Hold'em. She's a Limit machine -- I believe it was Doyle Brunson who said she could be the best Limit player in the world. She has never appeared nearly as comfortable or effective at NLHE when I've watched her play.

If your any good at it you can make some money with it since most that play arent very good.

Razz is my favorite stud game. Mainly because I have a horrible memory and I've never been able to keep up with all folded cards in the stud games. In razz just remembering them as high or low is effective enough, and that i can do! PokerStars has a few micro-stake razz tables. Check 'em out. You might even see me there
