I hate the River Card

I just got knocked out by an river A in 2days CC freeroll.I was on the BB with 6 4 everybody folds SB call fold 6 6 9 I bet SB raises I re-raise he calls turn 10 SB bet I went all-in he shows AA I was on a good chance of doubling up river A I was crush,stunted that was unbelievable because that was the only card that could knock me out I am so pissed right now I feel I could beat the hell out of FULL TILT.Only 87 people this was a good chance for me to get my bankroll going.Well I going to eat I hurry after that Bad Beat.

There is always next time. In the last two days I've lost in six tourneys on river cards, just have to forget it and move on. Despite how it feels in the moment, FTP is not out to get you and things should even out.

I think worse than losing to the river is losing to something you didn't see coming when you catch a half decent hand as the BB!

Now I know that if I want to avoid this situation I simply go all in after the flop. Actually with this move I scare the opponent and he should fold and I win the pot.

I absolutely hate the river card. I swear some of these sites reward the bad player with the river card almost every time... I hate it I lose with pocket aces all hte time to a river card that gives the idiot with 3 5 off suit 2 pair.. come on ... and its never the turn where i get beat its always the river.. ihate it.. I already think the card generator is urealistic and the river card is almost always a card that rewards the bad player

I feel ur pain, but its a bad beat take it and keep on goin. I hate the river some days and love it on others, its what keeps us playin.

The river card can be worst nightmare or your best friend. That all depends what your holding. We have all been on both sides of the coin. Poker is gambling. Lets remember that.

The worst part about it is there are so many poor players that call down with Ace high. You would think they would understand that this is holdem one pair only beats a high card, what about two pair, trips, flushes or straights. Yet they are calling down with ace high unfortunately they tend to beat high pocket pairs a lot with the terrible calls.

I hear you I have lost many of times with a great hand due to the river, but I gues thats poker for you!!!
