I cannot stand online poker anymore

I got bored today so I loaded up some money on FT. Was playing heads up and got dealt 1010 vs an overaggressive player. All in preflop $40 and the dude has JJ.

EVERY TIME SOME1 has a damn higher PP than me.

This is out of control.

very true, online poker can be a headach at times, and yes there's usual a bigger pocket pair at times, but in all fairness it's just bad luck/timing, gl with whatever u decide to do

Full Tilt drove me crazy. I threw on $50 and was playing $5 sngs. I suffered 4 straight bad beats where I had all the chips in with best hand only to get sucked out on. This was the final draw!!! sorry im just frustrated that ive lost more money to these sites.

yeah i agree more bad beats online but this is obviously due too way more hands being played......if you played that many hands live it would all happen the same....

I feel your pain. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. One thing I noticed was you bought in with $50 and went straight for the $5 SNG - that is more than 10% of you entire bankroll (when you include the fee).

Why are you going all-in preflop with $40 and pocket 10s? That's your own fault.

i'm getting sick of it too, i used to play alot more maybe 2 to 3 or more mtt's a night and weekends but have been getting so sick of the terrible hands that beat my good hands over and over and time and time again...it is ridiculous, with runner runner to beat my made hands after playing for 3 plus hours and losing my stack to j 5 when i have kk and get called all in and the flop is 6-10-8 then 9-7 just makes me sick, the last 5 tourneys i been in the money or at the final table and got taken out with garbage hitting runner, runner and i have been in the top 5 chip stacks then thumped out it's making me tired of poker and i've been playing less and less because of it. instead of getting a nice pay off i'm only doubling my buyin for three hours of wasting my life it sucks....and these people and the cards they play and hit them like they know its comming makes me sick...is there people that play for the website like shills??????i wonder, how else do you call an all in with 9,2 after the flop 5-9-a and hit a 2 on the river to beat ak??? bs bs bs bs bs is becomming my only chat reply lately....poker is not fun anymore

Lots a reasons:

He's a donk hit a pair on flop figures you have KQ or some shit and calls figuring he's ahead.

He's tired and dont care.

He's drunk and didn't see the A thought it was a 4.

He's seen so many suck outs figures his 5 outer will hit.

Lots a reasons donks call with mediocre garbage.

oh and my all time favorite...........Thats Poker!

Take a break

I had about a weeks worth of bad luck, so I took a break for like two weeks. The next time a played I was relaxed and more patient. I finally started winning again. Still hit some bad card runs and stuff but I was more emotionally able to handle it--I didn' cry or even go on tilt. It was amazing. Even placed 1st in a freeroll. WOW. I'm relatively new at this, so that was good for me. I''m better off not sitting down to play if I'm already frustrated or anxious. Luck goes both ways, but when its bad I tend to think it has always been bad

Know when to hold em and when to fold em... Honestly I don't think I could go all in with a 10 10 ... all the guy needs is a J 3 - and not even pocket pairs - and a jack comes up and you are screwed. Raising a little is fine - but all in? Not the way I roll...

Ummmm.....you go all-in to get the donk with J 3 to fold or better yet make the mistake of calling. Yes, you win when he calls (even if you lose). I get tired of people complaining about idiots catching (yes I do it too). Do we complain when our Aces hold up and we triple up because 2 idiots called with trash? My only response when I get sucked out on is "nh", because I want them to keep playing exactly the same way (because if they stop being idiots things may not even out the next time because God forbid they might fold their trash).

I will admit that online poker changes the way I look at poker pairs when playing online. Very frequently will you run into multiple pocket pairs on the same hand and you're either way ahead or crushed..

I can understand all of your frustration, you were just very unlucky. Have been sucked out on so many times online that I just learned to live with it.
