I can`t multi table to save my life!!!

Hi all.

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what I do I can`t multi table. Simple as.

So, my problem is simple. If I can`t multi table, how best can I make cash & build up loyalty points?

I know I`m a decent player - I make money every month.

However, my bankroll does not allow me to play higher stakes. (I withdrew cash recently and took my account down to about $75 on Ladbrokes, $20 on Stars, $30 on FT and $80 on Party - albeit all of the amounts have increased now)

Can anyone suggest what is the best way to go?

Have you tried using any software to multi table??

When you say you cant multitable i get the feeling that youve never used tableninja b/c it makes things so simple its unreal. I stack like 10 tables at the min with complete ease because TN does so much for you.

its a lot easier to multi table if you are playing tight.. you dont have to make as many reads or tough decisions. You only depend on other people making bad calls. Another wayn you can do it is to focus on one table and play super tight at the other table... But play two tables profitably before you try to jump up to 3,4 and 5 tables at a time

I find it difficult to play ABC poker, believe it or not!!!

I find it boring. (I`m just being honest )

This could be the reason?

Multi tabling really takes a lot of patience.
You see so many hands per hour and you have to play tight.

If you don't have the patience to do it, the don't
Pick a smaller SnG (Turbo if you like) and play them back to back to back.

Thanks for that Leo. This is what I do and what seems to work for me - with the odd MTT thrown in.

It takes alot of concentration as well. U just have to get in a mode where u tune everything out and just focus on playing. Playing tight isn't necessarily true just may have to lose a couple of tables or too

LMAO I was in 4 tourneys earlier at the same time and i was struggling to play all four tables, especially with every table cursing at me for taking so long to play. People have no patience, or no imagination beyond their own concerns, and I obviously don't have the skills to multi-table...

you say you cant multitable but if you started playing 2 tables at the same time both reduced to a size where you can see them both at the same time for a few days until you get used to it and then if you wanted you could make that 3 tables and so forth

Interesting thread as I'm still getting used to multi tabling with mixed results. I feel like I'm coping with more tables but my results (ROI and $/hr) are both worse than if I single table. My main difficulty with showing multiple tables on the same screen is that with HEM on I find it virtually impossible to have more then 1 game up on the screen at any time without truncating all the HEM HUD to such a level that I can't see it on my laptop. How do others get around this?

Table Ninja gives you got keys options, so you can fold/check/bet/raise/all-in with just the press of a button instead of having to move a mouse. If you're only tiling 4 tables, this is probably no needed. But if you're playing more tables, then the hot keys will help prevent accident misclicks with a mouse.

Also, it'll make pre-calculated bets for you pre-flop and for every street based on blinds. For example: Preflop raise = 3x BB + 1BB per limper, 75% of pot on flop, 70% of pot on turn, 65% of pot on river. This eliminates having to figure out how much to bet.

There is also auto sit-in and auto time options that keeps you in the came constantly. This is good if you're mass multi-tabling and maybe you don't realize you've timed out on a table or two. This prevents that from happening.

You could try to play during Happy Hour, and other multiple point chances. You could also do as I do (I also can't multi table in the least bit without losing money), is only play 2 tables at a time. It's double the points and is still not too over pressuring

Start slow and work your way up from 2 to 3 to 4 to 6 to 8 to 11 .....
When you add to many and your not able to manage all of them then move down (similar to bankroll management) and again back up when you have control and grasp on everything.

Some like to stack but others would rather tile the tables.
Stacking = ABC Poker
Tiling = Less ABC poker.

Multi tabling isn't for everyone.

In hindsight, theres only so much someone can do at once before mistakes start to appear. Added to that it's the reads on people at the table which causes most of the problems. Not so much the fact you must act fast, it's just not possible to keep track of what people are playing.

There are only a very few who can actually Multitable successful.
