You got your money in with the best hand. Not much else you can do. Your run of luck is bound to change.

I saw yesterday a T from WPT where a similar over pair lost to under pair TWICE IN A ROW at the final table - The over pair guy went from the leader to broke in 2 hands.
When this happens to me I scream and shout...

Yeah, you sure have to take that chance. Doesn't make it any less frustrating though.

I lost about 15 bucks yesterday playing micro stakes.. to bad beats and bad plays (my own stupidity) alike.. the last sng i played last night I won 25 bucks and got lucky on the coinflips so I guess you need to wait out the bad luck cuz probability says good luck is on its way.

I think my lucks changing already lol

Tonight finished in the money on the CC freeroll and then got this tonight..

I am SB and I have A 2 suited in my hand.

It folds to me, so I limp in.

The flop comes over 2 2 3 so I make a pot sized bet and the BB calls..

The turn comes over another 3

I check he bets, I raise all in. He calls.

He turns over J 3... OH SHIT I AM IN TROUBLE

What happens.. A bloody 2 turns up on the river

What a bad turn of events. I hate when that happens when your are deep into a tournament and you should be able to capitalize. But it is poker, and so unpredictable. you can only play the cards you are dealt. hope your luck turns around.

Sounds like a bad turn of events for ya. The only thing you can really do is get your money in good with the best hand preflop, eventually the odds will come to your favor. Remember its those people that play that way (calling raises with mediocre hands) that pay us off in the long run.

You can't get lucky in every tournament.
Remember that if you keep losing you will get frustrated hense the scream title! This would only result in you entering more and losing more.

!!!They can't here you moaning!!!

No matter how much skill you have at poker or if you play your hand/position correctly there is definitely some luck involved. The thing I hate the most is my bad luck streaks usually last alot longer than my winning ones. Good luck and get em next time!

CAN YOU FRIGGING BELIEVE THIS..

On Bodog. I am in mid position, average stacked and needing to start nicking the blinds which were 150/300 and creeping up.

I get QQ and its folded round to me. I raise to 700 as you would, and the bloke on SB calls. Everyone else folds.. So hes called a 700 raise.

The flop comes over 9 6 2

He bets 600 I re-raise to 1200. I knew he didnt have an over pair because this clown goes all in with any two picture cards, so I am thinking hes perhaps hit top pair

He re-raises my bet to 2400. I call

Turn comes over a 7

He bets 600 I call

Comes the river and it comes in a K. Scary..

He bets 600. i call

He flops over 6 2 off suit.... Unfookingbelievable

I've lost a nice chunk of my stack to some idiot who calls large raises with 6 2 off suit.

His excuse.. Well its a freeroll....

So I've just spent three fooking hours building up a nice stack for that donk to have them away.

I could take a beat from a good hand, but thats just really p**sed me off...

LOL at 2 1/3 BB raise being called large!

You didn't put stack sizes down, but you're raising too little, min-raising on the flop, calling bets on the turn when you should re-raising. In an earlier hand you are limping in to an unentered pot in the SB with A2, when you should be raising.

You don't play very well i'm afraid, it's probably easier to accept that you are unlucky and are being hounded by bad beats, but have you honestly never caught one yourself? If you are pushing all in with a small stack and losing to a large stack who has an inferior hand, you need to look at why you have got a small stack in the first place.
