I'm not interested so much in WHAT stats people have, as how they manage to fit them onto the screen without interfering with visibility. Here are my layouts for PS and FT, the FT one is not too bad now that I have removed the avatars but the PS one is far from ideal.

I have two separate elements of my HUD for PS, and they can be moved separately but apparently the two elements must be in the same relative position for all players. This means that you can't put the bottom element to the left of players on the left of the screen, for example, and to the right of the players on the right of the screen.

That gives me two challenges. Firstly if I put the HUD player name over the top of the site player name (see FT layout) and we change tables without me noticing, I can temporarily end up with stats that relate to the player from the old table.

Secondly on PS the HUD stats cover up the cards for some players during a showdown. Removing avatars on PS doesn't help.

I use what came stander setup on my PT3. Which is VP, Pre flop raise, and Aggression. I have not played with the set up very much.

NOWucking: are you using Holdem manager and Poker Tracker? That is what it looks like in you screen shots. If so I don't think most people have trouble fitting it on the screen cause we only use one hud at a time.

I use HEM. Not sure why somebody would have both.

re: HUD Stats poker

I use the PT advanced tourney HUD which has 3 independent bars and got a bit OCD about the best setup on Stars.

The best solution I came up with was to use whatever table layout it is that has rectangular boxes with the avatar at the side.

Not sure you can do much about moving to a new table (my layout doesn't have the player name without hovering so is worse). Just hope you don't have to make a decision first hand!

This is what the standard HEM HUD setup looks like.

For me that would just be to much on my screen. I are you tracking like 7 stats on each person? I will stick with my PT3 which is like 3 stats and the number of hands I have seen them for. Short and to the point. I like that.

I do find the display of M useful, but some of the others I don't really use yet.

Think I might cull a few, I can always add them back later if I find that I'm missing them badly.

re: HUD Stats poker

But how do you fit all that info in for every player without obstructing card visibility?

I'll take a screen cap later and post but they're basically out of the way.

That would be useful, if you wouldn't mind. I've sorted out the changing table challenge by making the font size of the player name in the HUD smaller, and reducing opacity, so that way I can see both the HUD player name and the site player name to be sure that they are the same.

Here you go. I only play at FTP so not sure how to arrange it at Stars. I also don't include the player name.

My stats are the ones more toward the middle of the table.

Also the overall table VPIP/PFR/AF is at the top near the PT3 icon.

Why does the number of hands have a bracket around it?

Default for PT3 and I just never bothered changing it.

Not to worry, I just wondered if it had any significance as putting a number in brackets sometimes suggests that it's a negative number, which would seem a bit odd in the case of number of hands

I was recently having a problem with my 4-line HUD covering up too much stuff on Full Tilt and I went in and adjusted the font size, and made sure the size wasn't adjusting with the size of the table. Even going down one point in font size made a really big difference!

Yes, both of those things can make quite a big difference. I've added "donk bet" and "fold to donk bet" as I seem to encounter donk bets quite often, but despite having 4 lines now it's not too bad with the settings you suggested.
