Howard Lederer's DVD
I recently got "Howard Lederer's Secrets of Hold em Poker" DVD for Christmas and watched it last night. While it did have some useful tips on common tells, and betting on the flop, turn and river, it was mainly targeted towards players who are just getting into the game. So, for those of you who just started playing or been playing for a few months, this DVD is quite useful. It also has a preflop stragedy chart inside as well as a blinds sturcture chart for those who want to organize your own home tournament.

Just to follow up, one thing Howard Lederer says during the common tells section of the DVD is "weak is strong and strong is weak." What he means here is if the player is betting quitely or calmly, that player's hand is a strong one. If a player places the chips forcefully or aggressively, that player's hand is weak. I thought this little snippet of information might be useful to you. For more detail, get the DVD.
