HOW TO WIN $1-2 sng's in 41 hands or less

k so heres the strategy. its called supersupermongloid aggro...well if you look through the 41 hands it took me to win you will see i raised every hand less than 3xbb or so. basically when i hit i bet huge and when i missed i just folded. by the 6th hand or so your image is so nuts that ppl ccall you down very light. it may look like i was just being super aggro but there is a true method to the madness. note-low limit players dont know how to react to someone playing like this at higher limits this would never work you would get reraised allin every hand. imo BTW theres a section of the SNG where i went allin like 10 hands in a row...that was on the bubble... so i play higher limits but when im bored i go to $1 sngs and just murder them with this style so i feel better than back to bigger..i just figured id share it with you low limit freerollers since its something i have done like 30 times with a 50% plus success at that level buyin. note the hand history is to long to put in 1 post so i have to split it...heres 1st part

You hit the flops over and over and over. Couple of those hands didn't win and you'd have been out, so you've hardly cracked it. Nice win though (how much, $3?).

um yeah i type with my feet. and yeah my keyboard sucks. anyways if you look through the handhistory you will notice that i did not continuation bet unless i did hit the flop, meaning at least top pair. when i missed i check folded. a few times i just raised allin preflop but that was with like AK or sum. if someone reraised me preflop i just fold.

I'm generally reluctant to be dismissive of this type of strategy (scheme may be a better term that scheme) as it could seem disrespectful at best and calling integrity into question at worse. However, as this idea is (sort of) testable, I've had a look at the last 100 hands that I played in Poker Tracker.

Of those 100 hands, I hit top pair on the flop (or better) 9 times. If you include open ended straight / 4 flush draws, that figure goes up to 10.

My hole cards, and the flops of those 9 hands are below. Where I can tell from Poker Tracker if my hand would have lost, I have marked L where I would have won I have marked W and all others are marked ?

Of the 3 hands that won, I played 2 of them using the "old fashioned" method of TA play (and won anyway). The Q2 probably would have won, the rest probably wouldn't (and I certaining wouldn't want to play them strongly post flop). I accept that the raises that you suggest will have resulted in some uncontested hands, but even so I doubt that I could have won 2 S+G's with the above 100 hands (how to win in 41 hands or less)!

In summary, I find it hard to believe that this 'strategy' could be anything other than a receipe for losing money - at least based on the 100 hands that I checked.

Holy crap, you posted all the hands. You mention this being good for the freeroll crowd but I don't see how this would work in a freeroll because most people don't care about the freerolls and will reraise you all-in frequently.

I didn't read through the hand history, but:
If you are not c-betting on missed flops, why raise at all? If your strategy is to play every single hand and simply value bet your hits, why not limp? Surely even players at this level will begin to discount your raises fairly quickly, making the value of the raise in winning the blind nil.

You must be playing with some very weak players. I would eat you alive with that bull..... Anyway with that said there is alot of weak players like that and it is our job to take advantage of them until they learn. right....lol
