stormswa is right...but if i were i would pick the 5$ games. but since u said that its on stars. here is a suggestion for ya. why not do 3.40 10 man sit n gos and throw in a 3.25 45 man sit n go. once u get yr account to 50$ then do 5$ 9 mans and keep playing 3.25 45 mans every once in a while. if ur a good player this should get u to about 100$ in about 3 days just by doing this

re: How should I go busto? poker How should I go busto? call me crazy but judging by the title of the thread...I doubt very much that good bankroll management is at the top of his priority list here. I voted to go out in a blaze of glory in the $22 btw lol gl

how bout me and you heads up !! huh ?!! you got your 5 months worth ! wait a minute , i just remembered something , im not that good and i dont have $22 , nevermind . my bankroll starts at $22 and i would play the 1.10 sngs w/ one $5 ring game in there. BUT since you're tired of the grind and you usually only play sngs , id jump in a $25 max ring game and go out in a blaze of glory.!!!

re: How should I go busto? poker I'd play a H2H $22 game which they are very very winnable (and then a $33 one and then a $55 one, $132 if you win all 3, and it'll take less than an hour). I wouldn't recommend the $1 games, they're 1.20, not 1.10 for a start, and you wont be properly focused if you play at too low a level.

You said you're tired of grinding and you put 20 $1.10 sitngos among the poll choices? I don't think that's a good idea, as Rob said you wouldn't be properly focused. I'd go with the 4 $5.50 ones, chances are you won't go busto right away and if you play the 45 seat tournies you get almost $70 if you manage to win one. Winning those are far from impossible. Of course its terrible BR management to play them with only $22, but you started this saying you're tired of grinding...with that in mind this is the way to go. |

re: How should I go busto? poker If the goal is busto, then let loose with it. Let it ride baby, let it ride. Buy into the highest SNG you can with what's left. If you cash at all, roll it up to the next one. Keep playing the highest you can and roll, roll, roll it up or go busto. If you get to $1000 stop and reevaluate. If not, then you've achieved your busto goal as well.

lol i guess if he wants to go bust...i have never seen anyone try to go bust. i know everyone wants to win and if it was me i would do what i said in my earlier post. do a 5.50 9 man 3.25 45 man or 1.10 45 man and probably 5.25 heads up since im a good hu player and i would probably build up my br just by doing hu. i have builded 5 to 50$ on full tilt just by playing heads up nothing but hu. started with 2.15 got my 5$ to 10 played 6.50 won it and then kept playing 6.50 till i got to 50

The goal is not to go busto, if I can run it back up, I'd prefer to do that. I'm just not wanting to do proper BR with under $20. The title of the thread is kind of a tongue in cheek type thing. Knowing that because I'm playing outside of my roll, I'm most likely to go bust. I admire that some people are able to easily take $5 and run it up to $50, but that doesn't happen to me. And I'm not a terrible player, I'm ITM on SNGs 40% of the time, I'm in the top 4, 57% of the time. The sample size is not large though, only 123. I played 2 more, $5.50s, I finished 7th in a Stud H/L when someone rivered trip 2s on me. And I finished 3rd in Omaha H/L and made $3.50, so I'm presently at $14.50.
