How representative is medium-high stakes play money? Omaha8

I've been playing some NLO8 play money tournaments on pokerstars for 25000 chip buyins. I've done 10 so far and placed in all of them, coming in 1st six times, 2nd once, and 3rd three times. I feel confident that I am really dominating almost all the players in all stages, but I don't know if the real tournaments are anything like this. Does anyone have experience with low stakes Omaha?

This is the first time I've played much omaha, so I wanted to try play money before real money. Just trying to see if it's actually useful.

I dont have much experience with the game, but if you feel like you have a very good grasp and good results at the play money level, try playing some of the smaller buy-in games. It's good to see you've taken the time to practice at this level.

The rng should give the same results whether it's play money or real. I've played the sng's O8 on PS and they play pretty tight. If you feel comfortable with your game, this is where I would start. Just don't play danglers.

I find that some of the play money players, especially Omaha 8 are pretty skilled. My guess is they are older players that just enjoy the game. In the ring games the all-in idiot tables are plentiful, but sometimes if you look for the middle average pot tables the players can give you a lesson or two in thinking about the game. I've also found some of those 1c/2c tables can be filled with tougher players than the higher micro limits. In hold-em they seem to be awful players in the play chip tournaments. I use the play money tables to see hands and test betting patterns.

NLO8? Lol didnt even know there was such a thing. But yea, any time u play for real money the competition is gonna be way better than for play money. And in a game like omaha, where variance is huge, u could just be on a play money super heater right now.
