re: How to play A 10 offsuit pre-flop? poker Personally, I would Daley. I think once it hits something like AQ or AK that's where you raise MP and try to potsteal. My LP play would be the same for AJ OS. If there are a few callers you'd raise to try and reduce the players (eliminate all if possible) who see the flop and maybe hit their pair. If there's not many, then I'd simply call.

I fold A10 more often than not. It's just one of those hands on "my list" that gets you into trouble far too often than not. All depending on the stage in the tournament and blinds as well relative to your stack. Since your question is cash game though, it all depends on your tablemates.

A 10 off suit I find that an Ace with a low kicker is a good way to get into trouble. However, in late position I would call the blinds or a small bet. But, be ready to fold at the first sign of agressive betting. AT os is not even in the top 24 of the EV table. So, thats how weak the hand is. If you are unable to fold a pair of Aces, dont play A T os at all. just a donks opinion, as I am a TAG player. mange

it all depends who is on the table if there's idiots on the table that play with any cards .be caucious .maybe not raise and just call or if there's tight players just raise or call .like i say depends what position ur in ,who calls ,raises and reraises .depends on the ppl at the table ..

if no one raise a min raise or 3bb bet is the more appropiate way of playing these hand, with a big raise before i think calling or folding are the best options .. remember that A10 is not such a great hand however 10 is an interesting kicker whick can make you win hands like a9,a8,a7, etc...

This is the sort of hand that I wouldn't need much persuasion to let go. As I think someone else has said, it is the sort of hand that can get into trouble. You can easily get called by Ax and if an A hits on the flop it is difficult to know where you stand - against 2 pair or higher kicker? However I don't like folding it as a matter of course either. | I usually fold A-10. If I do play it, it's usually in late position. I'm looking for a straight or two pair or a full-house. Something like that, i would be very nervous playing A-10 as a top pair and depending on the 10 as a kicker, especially if there is alot of action. |
