How Phil Ivey Lost 800,000 on The Super Bowl

Just heard on the sports radio show I listen too Ivey lost $800,000 on the Cardinals +3.5 points for the 1st half in the Super Bowl. If you guys don't remember the game James Harrison's 100 yard INT return for a TD to end the half cost Ivey that bet. That's a tough way to lose a bet. WOW!

lol 1.6M swing on the fact that he got tackled like a foot inside the end zone at the most. Also if he steps a few inches to his right and steps out of bounds. But of course to Ivey this bet was probably like most people betting like $50 on the game. Not like pocket change but certainly not enough to lose sleep over. I've heard he bets a ton playing golf as well.

He does, but I actually think Phil might've been shocked on this one. That's just a brutal way to lose 800K, brutal, brutal, brutal! I'm sure he thought he had it in the bag when the Cardinals were inside the 5. I mean who wouldn't?

No if Harrison doesn't run that back he wins 800k, if he does he loses 800k. The line doesn't give odds, just the amount of points.
