Been online for almost a year and a half, but only play on Stars and FullTilt. Can't say I have 'lost' anything since I only play freeroll winnings online and have small BR's on both sites.

Been playing live since 1969 and since retiring to Nevada I save my cash for casino poker room play.

With all the current cheating, multiple accounts, superusers, electronic collusion, fraud and theft concerns lately, glad I have never made a cash deposit online. Good luck to those who have.

With all the reports of muggings, rapes, shootings, lootings, fatal car accidents and drug-related crazed axe-men lately, I'm glad I haven't left the house for the last six months!

But seriously, reports of corruption in online poker ARE indeed greatly exaggerrated. Sometimes, you just have to throw caution to the wind!

Playing about 3 years. First year I was a total donk. Probably lost $1,000. Much better since then. Up $750 or so in the last year and about $250 over the course of the entire time. I keep a spreadsheet of every game I play, mostly 5 table S&Gs ($5 - $20 buy-ins)

This is the word I am trying to get out , if you have read another of my postings please forgive the reitterance, but there is at least one website blatantly advertizing software for sale to make its patrons tens of thousnads through cheating they don't even try to deny it. The even sho a picture of a reputable poker room that has , at the operators behest revealed all the hole cards of its opponents.

I've removed the link LayD. It's not relevant to the topic in this thread and it's not something we want to advertise.

I only leave to go to the casino to play, but then, riding in a Brinks truck gives me a higher level of security than most ...

Going to a casino, I do throw some caution to the wind. There could be muggers outside, or at the table 2 guys in collusion or maybe even a card marker. There are also security measures in place to protect the house, as well as the players.

Online cheating is far more prevalent and it's not limited to higher stakes. Even freerolls and low buy-ins have cheaters. Me against 9 other players at one live table is one thing. Me against the offshore electronic poker world is quite another - at least it is to me.

The gaming commissions that 'control' online rooms create less caution than I care to relinquish. Absolute got fined what, $500k, for failures in their responsibilities. That wasn't a penalty, it was a joke.

I'll stick with being cautious with my freeroll winnings ...

Quit posting links to that garbage site, ladysking. Irexes might not be so lenient in the future - spamming is not allowed.

Coincidence that both T-rex and Irexes both contain "rex"????

Actually it isn't, for they actually named the T-rex after Irexes.

man atleast your all up , If I were to assume your all telling the trueth which I will , I would have to say I lost about 1200 of my own cash, but profit wise, I'd have to say I lost about 10k, and by this I mean, I started playing 2yrs ago, I had deposited 500 on pp, and pokerstars 250 and 250, flipped on pokerstars to 3k i'd say, lost it, and on party poker flipped it to about 1500 and lost that, then repeated the same over and over and over untill i just gave using my own money, but more or less hope that makes sense.
