How much Luck and Skill do you think is involved with playing Texas Holdem?

In the short run, >75% luck.

In the long run, almost 100% skill.

75% luck to sit at the table where nobody knows what they are doing and think you are about to hit it big.

100% skill to lose your whole roll to them in 12 minutes.

Luck plays a factor more in tournaments. You can get up and walk away from a ring game when it goes cold. In a tournment you just sit there and do a slow death.

Hi peeps

If you look over the time span 20/30 years luck is about 1.7% sure on any given hand you get lucky or unlucky, however in the long term its all skill.
