I've been broke numerous times but now I can't seem to deposit money because my bank doesn't like gaming transactions. UB gave me $10 so I had to use that but now I got a 6 figure bankroll on UB. I got 89 bucks on cake. I blew all my money on FT when I got unlucky playing higher than I should have.

well this is like my 4th time after having a bankroll that i have gone broke ...usually takes me about 2-3 weeks to bust my roll....so it happens to everyone.. The problems is that you have to start with more then a $100 deposit...Otherwise there is no room to run into a downslope

I don't really like to consider it going broke, because I always have the means to put money online. But I have gone busto probably about 6 times. 7th time seems to be the charm though. I have not deposited since June and I've tripled my buy in, so hopefully I won't be depositing any time soon.

re: how many times have you gone broke? poker went broke once on pokerstars, after three years, trying to come back with fpp now though. i'm 10x up on my initial deposit on bodog now. only made one initial minimum deposit on both sites a long time ago.

Had to re-fund my account several times. Not so much due to bad runs at the card table, rather because I get the itch to bet sports through Bodog as well. I've kept pretty good track though, and cashed for a lot more than I've deposited over the last few years.

re: how many times have you gone broke? poker Although I don't consider losing my online BR 'going broke', I've been disciplined enough to avoid it so far. I've had some serious backslides, but by dropping down stakes and examining my game, I've been able to grind back each time.

I went broke probably 4 times, then i made a $200 deposit so i was rolled for 10 nl, started reading some books and reading ALOT on here. that was 2 months ago. Now im playing 25nl and over halfway rolled for 50... I really think 2nl is a joke and I simply couldnt get away from tptk. now that ive learned to do that my biggest leak was plugged

i've technically never gone broke. why? because i keep my online pokerbankroll on a bank account specifially for online poker. every cent came from poker - albeit from different sites. atm, its around $5k - was around $14k but i "CASHED OUT" $9K for a dp on a beamer. whenever i want to play on a specific site, i deposit the buyin (say 100 xBB x4 if i plan on multi-tabling). after the session, i cashout immediately. call me weird, but this is how i do it. better safe than sorry:-)

Are you saying you ran $10 to over $100,000 ? How long? |

I've never deposited, and all my small winnings from freerolls wouldnt last but 3 or 4 games. I now have some on pokerstars that I have built up from the summer olympics and have been grinding away on the double or nothings and $1 sng's. If I play within my br, I shouldnt bust again. But I'm not sure if it matters, as Kentucky is about to do away with the internet poker if the PPA doesnt win the battle

| Went broke too much times...went up to over 200$ with freerolls but really poor BR managment and gambling instint helped me loose it all in about....2 hours...deposit 2 times 100$ moved up to 500 and tilted it away just to realise the next day i wanted to play so i deposited again and lost it all TY POKER FOR RUINING MY LIFEEEE. | re: how many times have you gone broke? poker I have played on Full Tilt for several years. I have never made a deposit. I had won up to about $ 65 dollars on freerolls and small buy-ins including a few ring games. Then I busted out in like 2 weeks. Since that I finished 2nd in a 2700 person freeroll winning $ 12 and have never looked back. I am now over $ 200 plus a $ 26 token. Everyone should read Chris Fergusons article on Bankroll management concerning haow much to play for before they start playing. |
