I do... bottom right seat, I like having my cards right next to the buttons. It makes me look at them so I don't screw up with the suits or w/e. I don't have it on full tilt so it really doesn't make a difference, but that's just how I've always done it. I know ChuckTs has the same preferred seat from his 200NL vid

I do. It makes multi-tabling much easier because you're not looking all over for your cards.

Not really superstitious, it just seems logical to always put myself center / bottom.

I always choose the center bottom because the light on my screen just looks better there.

On line I dont care, in live games I prefer to sit on an endcap, this give me the best view of all the players at the table. After I broke my neck my abilty to watch a player for tales when I am in seats 1,2,9 or ten was deminshed when that player is seated close to the dealer but the opsite side

Yeah for multi tabling I find it's best to have my preferred seat as the bottom middle. That way you don't have to look around for your cards, especially if you're stacking tables it would be crazy not to have a preferred seat.

At online it really doesnt matter, but in the middle of the screen is nice. And if there are very agressive players at the table then i'd sit right from them.

I always sit bottom or bottom right for the ease of it. But if I join a ring game that only has one player sitting at the table, I will always choose directly across from them. But that's just my superstitious nature kicking in.

seat

The first site I played at was FT. They gave me that option, and I didnt really care where I sat. But now reading what some of you have to say and why, it makes sense. I can see if you play multitables that sitting next to the betting options would make it less stressful. And I guess some just have favorite places. Does every poker room give you the option on where you would like to be seated? Well , I guess for now I will play where they place me. Good tips . Good luck at the tables all

Bottom middle for me as well, especially if I am playing multiple tables, makes life easy.

Bottom right...makes it easier for me if I am multi-tableing.

If I am not multi-tableing then anywhere on the bottom of the table/screen...just makes it easier.

If I am live, I have poor eyesight...so either next to the dealer...one or nine seat...or directly across the table from the dealer...I do not want to pull a T.J. Cloutier.

I like the bottom middle although its not always the winning seat I still somehow end up sitting there. Any one remember ordering cocktails or beverages at Paradise poker? Great Luck to all

Online, I really don't care where I'm seated.

Live games, like someone else pointed out up the thread, the end caps are usually best. Sitting right next to the dealer is horrible for me, because it makes it a pain to see the two players on the opposite side of the dealer fro me, and takes away the physical read options for them.

At the end caps, you can get a clear view of everyone and gather the most information about your competition.
