How many hours do you play poker each week?

I find myself wondering how many hours each week do you play. I myself play about 40 hrs a wek that's almost a full time job. If only I got paid like 1. Maybe someday I will, but with forty hours a week I think I have an edge on some of you other players. Do you?

I play in a lot of freerolls on Full Tilt throughout the day, but my time playing poker varies day to day. I'd say I average about 20 hours a week with live and online play. Hopefully, one day playing poker will be like a full time or part time job. It sure is fun, and would be even more fun if I could live off of it!

How many hours

I find myself playing around the same. About 40 hours a week or so. The more I play it seems like the more I learn. I lost with AA 4 times in one tournament last week. So I think I will be playing them differently from now on.

days, yes...

How do you say, "too many". I don't want to start counting the hours I'm playing, I don't need to verify that I am a degenerate poker addict. I can verify that with a "So!!!"

seven days a week.. 6 hours in weekdays (engineering eats my time).. 10 hours in weekends..

So: 6x5 + 20 = 50 hours of poker per week !!!

Wow !!! That's is a lot no ?? =) ..

I used to find myself playing around 30hrs/week, but with school starting back, and my girlfriend moving back into town that # has gone down significantly... I'd say probably 10-15hrs nowadays.

Being a single dad of 2 active boys 12 and 9. my playing time is limited to maybe 20 hours a week this time of the year. But during school time it goes up to 30-40 hours per week.

More than 10 hours/day

I generally don't play more than 3-4 hours, that'd be 20 hours on average.

To the people playing more than 30 hours per week are you generally playing just 1 or 2 tables at a time? I average just under 500 hands/hr playing 8 FR tables (~20K hands per month for me) so if you're doing the same 40 hrs per week you're getting in 80K hands/month! I'd say we have very few people at CC doing that sort of volume.

It looks like you have a slacker in your midst. ME

I'm on for 10 to 15 hours. I often tell people I don't have a life. Maybe I actually DO have a life!

(If any of you think that I'm implying that you do not have lives, please understand that I meant that in the nicest possible way, if there is one.)

I'm currently only playing 10-14 hours a week, due to an erratic work schedule. I'm hoping to double that, as well as double the number of tables I play in the fall.

Hmm ive played 65.4 hours so far this month. So that makes ~30 hours per week, playing 4-6 tables. But thats abnormally high as im on holidays, when Uni starts again im sure itll decrease.

I play about 7-12 hours a day, every day. I guess it's pretty pathetic. Sometimes I wish I had something better to do.
