How long will it take? Hey guys. I've been playing on Poker Stars for a while, and have built my BR from $10 to around $500-$600. I been pondering a move to Fulltilt for a while simple for the first deposit bonus; I could double my BR through the bonus system. My question for you guys is how long would it take to clear the bonus following proper BR managment with a $600 BR. I mainly play SnG's however I could tolerate playing solely cash games if required Thank You in advance. Joe.

Well, iirc, FT bonus clears at 42%, so you'll need to pay $1430 of rake to clear it. Playing $20 sngs where the rake is $2, that would be 700 games. 500 games if you play the $30 range. Playing 25nl cash games, rake must be something like $2.5/100 hands, so you'd need something like 60000 hands to clear it. Not 100% sure about the exact numbers above, but the order of magnitude is correct. How long it takes for you to play that many games/hands is of course up to you.

700 games would talk me a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time lol, i seem to be useless at multi-tabling so can only play one 6max $2.25 at a time i'm going to try and increase my tables to 2 so then it might just take a loooooooong time there is hope tho, pokerplayer magazine is doing an article on multi-tabling this month, i am eagerly awaiting the copy on my door mat as they are tres good at explaining things. to the OP, how long did it take you to build your roll on stars?? i'm currently playing the 6max $3.25 sngs on there and its a bloody grind n a half

re: How long will it take? poker Belgo's in the right ballpark, AFAIK. FTPs / bonuses accumulate really slowly on Full Tilt, especially if you're playing the SnGs that $600 would have you rolled for. Assuming you continue to win at about the same rate you've been winning on Stars though, (and that the rake on both sites for your chosen game is the same) I guess it's money for nothing - even if you don't unlock the entire amount it's money you wouldn't have had playing without a deposit bonus. That's a pretty big "all other things being equal" assumption though. If you've found games you can beat I wouldn't be in a hurry to risk your whole roll moving somewhere with unknown games.

I is .06 per ftp you aquire. It will be hard to clear the bonus playing on sng's. I usually play 5 to 10 dollar sng's on full tilt poker and it had taken me whuiole to clear mine. .50/1.00 or higher no limit would be the way to go clearing that bonus.

re: How long will it take? poker if im not mistaken, fulltilt's bonus lasts for a good 5months. it's possible to unlock the full $600 grinding low stakes sngs, but the important thing is to multi-table. start off with 2 and work your way up. in sngs, volume is key to success, so i guess u'll have to practice multi-tabling sooner or later to move up a notch on your br journey. $1430 x 73% = $1043.9 so in essence, when u've unlocked the $600 bonus, u'll be gettin a total of close to $1000 in free money, inclusive of rakeback. would highly recommend u to ship it to FT.

About RB, first deposit bonus is actually deducted from your MGR when you clear it, so - if you have RB - you only get your 27% back from the 58% of rake remaining after deducting the 42% of bonus, i.e. while clearing the bonus, your RB is effectively 15.66% of MGR, not 27%. That means once you clear the $600 bonus by paying $1430 of rake, you also got $224 in RB, for a total of $824.
