How to learn Omaha hi-lo??

I have been playing No limit holdem for several months both on-line and with friends and have built up a basic knowledge of the game. As usual when I first started playing ( I played small limits in ring games on-line )I got my arse kicked and lost money as I learnt the hard way. My play is now a lot more refined and I believe I have become a very disciplined player.
I am interested in learning Omaha hi-lo as I understand it suits disciplined and patient players but have never played the game before at all.
It is not my wish to learn by losing lots of money(whose is??) nor do I feel play money games give a true reflection of real money games.

I would appreciate any advice or thoughts on the best way to delve into the world of Omaha hi-lo and any good sites to try.

Am I right in thinking that Omaha is suited to disciplined play??
