Position in relation to the button is extremely important. One of the main factors in determining how much you bet or if to play the hand at all is when you act. To try and keep it simple early position you need play tighter in last position you should loosen up. Last to act is advantageous because you don't have to worry about a raise after you. For example: First to act you should fold KQ off suit where as in last position might be worth a call. Hope that helps

button position is important in play. If u r on the button and no1 b4 u bets this is a good oportunity to steal a pot either b4 or after the flop. After the flop if a good flop comes up the oportunity is actuially on the small blind if still in the hand to act, if he acts weak on a strong flop he might as well fold because button can bet a medium bet knowing u r weak. Of course a lot also depends on the size of your stack and if other players have called or raised in the hand and if u have any knowledge of their style of play. I know its a lot to consider, but once you play a few thousand hands, you'll catch the hang of it lol.
