| how to hide public stats? Hi everyone, Hope this is the right forum, I noticed all my stats were publicly available at top shark and I was wondering if there is a way to hide it? Actually, I'd prefer if it can be made private so that I can see them but I doubt that would be possible. Also are there any other sites that index stats publicly this way? Also how good is 5 pokerstars on a 9 card on Top Shark? Thanks. |

| Your info will be available at www.pokertableratings.com if you are playing cash ring games. No way to hide it there that I know of. On the bright side, your opponents can't hide either. |

That's sad because most of the information help the opponent decide if your a pro or a starter. |

| re: how to hide public stats? poker With Sharkscope you can block your stats by submitting your username + e-mail address. Topshark / Pokerprolabs has an opt-out link at the bottom of the page, which leads to this info box: "To block your username from search, please submit the request to support@pokerprolabs.com . You will need to include your username and poker site that you would like your username to be blocked from. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for your username to be blocked from search." If you opt-out, you won't be able to see your stats either. |

You just have to submit a screen name plus an e-mail address and then click the link they send to your e-mail. So if I wanted, I could actually block someone else's screen name as well. |

And I do believe that accessing other people's email without their permission is a very uncool thing to do, not to mention probably illegal in most places. |

| That's right, but if I input your screen name and my e-mail, I believe Sharkscope would send the link to my e-mail address. I'm not advocating this practice, but I've heard of it being abused in the past by ego driven players that wanted to be at the top of the leaderboard. |

There is pretty much a 0% chance that any poker site is communicating with Sharkscope about matching e-mail addresses to screennames, due to the fact that: a) It would be a privacy breach b) Sharkscope is considered a banned applicaton on many poker sites (Full Tilt, Pokerstars, and others) |
