How do you calculate odds for runner-runner?

How do you calculate odds of getting runner? Is this possible? I hate folding a hand and seeing runner runner for Da nutz.

To calculate runner runner odds:

First calculate the odds of getting the first card needed for the runner. The easiest way of doing this in your head is figuring how many "outs" you have and taking that number times two. That's not an exact percentage, but it gets you close.

Then figure your percentage of getting the second card needed for the runner. Same procedure.

After you work both of these numbers, you take the two percentages TIMES each other... for instance, if you have a 8% chance of getting the first card, and assuming you get that one, you have another 8% chance of getting the second, you take:

8/100 * 8/100 = 64/1000. Reduce that fraction to
6.4/100, or 6.4%. There's your odds.

there is a way but omg why would you want to stay in a pot with only runner runner outs you will never get correct odds to chase down only runner runner i shouldnt think

How do I answer without coming off as a prick.. Oh well, guess i'll just say it.. Do not even worry about calculating odds of this occuring..If the flop gives you a back door flush draw or a straight draw you are counting on perfect perfect to give you the nuts.. Nearly always you are not getting correct odds to draw to this because you'll have to call a bet on the flop AND on the turn to hit.. You could raise the flop to "buy a free card" but its not really worth the effort.. I feel like you are being results oriented when you say you hate to fold and then see what would have been the winning hand catch on the turn and river.. Never be results oriented.. Always try to make the right play given all the information you have available to you and make an educated determination as to the right course of action.. I'm sorry I didn't answer your question but I believe that most others here will agree that attempting to calculate the odds of runner runner will more often than not be an exercise in futility..

Isn't that 64/10,000? meaning 0.64% to hit runner runner...

Only time to even consider such foolishness is if you got something else on the flop, like a big pair. Then if you have a runner runner situation, it might be worth the chase. Alternatly, the ultimate runner runner situation would have to cover both str8, and flush, but you should still have that big pair.

the only response i can think of is to make an educated guess and make your move! play be the odds! and runner runner cards are not good odds for the serious player!

BTW if you make bad calls and fold out to early, you still have your stack to do damage with later!
