How come I..
Can't pull shit luck out my ass while everyone else can?
Its funny as heck watching others get lucky as sin but rarely does luck come my way. Still going to play my solid way with or without luck. But it be nice if those leprechauns would share the wealth with all of us. A couple of for instances.. The flush draw after the flop.. So you have 4 cards to the flush. Making that a 36% down to the river.. People call bets with this no matter how much is bet. Is there some miracle to always betting 100 times and winning 36 out of those 100? Open ended straight draw.. 32% chance.. again people call bets no matter how much the bet is. Even on the gut shot straight.. 4 outs.. 16% chance.. Then my favorite.. Holding small pocket pair.. 2 outs to come.. 4% chance.. Now I won't say don't gamble but come on.. there has to be certain times when you should fold these hands based apon #1 Your oppenent and #2 Odds, all of them(implied, pot, hand). Then my personal favorite.. I had a feeling.. feeling about what? That you were going to win the hand? People need to think 1st then react.. Not react and think afterwards. Sorry about the rant but just think it is funny and crazy to constantly watch people play without any thought process. |

A lot of inexperienced and bad players love to chase hands (straight or flush) because they play crap hands like low suited connectors. What kills me is they get so damn lucky and it seems like they never fail, especially against me! Eventually, luck will run out and the tables will turn.

Hey Twizzy,
This seems to happen to me a lot myself. It seems I am always getting sucked out on. I did here Mike Sexton say "All you can do is get your money in with the best hand and then hope for the best". Not trying to complain but I do get knocked out or crippled a lot when I am ahead in the hands. I think another reason this happens to me though is that I play very small stakes and/or buy in's and A lot of the people in these games just don't care about the small amount of money! |
