How to combine online with live casino poker?

I have seen a number of discussions comparing online poker with live casino poker. There are differences, similarities, merits, and demerits aplenty! I'd appreciate any thoughts on how to combine the best of both worlds.

While you are playing poker at a casino, what do you miss about the online version?

Please share any ideas that may have popped into your head about how to integrate some of the advantages of online poker with the live casino setting.

Any ideas better than simply going to a casino with your laptop?

Personally, I miss online poker's mute button when I'm playing live. Though I can see how people would miss their HUD or being able to multitable or whatever more

Aside from that, if you're a basically solid online player then you should be a basically solid live player. Just make sure you learn the live poker rules.

This has already been done with the introduction of PokerPro tables at various casinos and cruise ships. I've never played on the table myself but know people who have and they generally didn't care for it. And those are people who play both live and online. I guess forwhatever reason when the two are mixed, it doesn't come off as well.

On my cruise in Mexico I had the chance of playing on that very table with Carnival cruise lines. I hated it due to the fact of the absurdly drunk and belligerent players that would sit down. It made a very simple game hard.. Although I cannot complain with the rewards .
