| How cardschat made me money. :) I was just playing in a sgn $ 1.00 on ft. I decided to sit out a few minutes to post a reply to the Chris Furgeson thread and when I came back to my table I was playing with only 2 people left. Unfortunately, I only took second place money yet for sitting out for 5 minutes and playing only 2 mins. I'll take second everytime. |

They sussed out if everyone in a S+G went all in on the first hand they all got paid, so naturally it was a free for all for a day.. No S+G went past the first hand for something like 5 hours |

| ok i sat at a 6 man table and I was bb, i get dealt aa, everyone in front of me goes all in, only two places pay out, i folded, wouldn't have won but technically was it the right move, I mean really how good is my aa up against five other hands. I got second, played five hands, he kept going all in every time after when we were heads up ( can't blame him ) I got jj called and he hit his k3 hand.... anyway question is should i have called preflop? Congrats for your second win and kudos to your post and sitting out and getting second! |

In a 6 man SnG where everyone else went all in this is an easy fold for me. I know you should never fold aces and in a tournament I would call, but here aces against 5 random hands will win rarely, not to mention you are guarenteed to be in the money if you fold. |

| I tend to watch videos or search the internet "despite what pros like Ferguson suggest" while I'm playing. Lately I've been reading and posting on CC I haven't won anything because of CC, but I did play fewer hands and I picked up some good tips. Thanks Mods |

| re: How cardschat made me money. :) poker Obviously there are some advantages to having a little patience in these SNG's because you can often get into the money by not playing. On the turbo games though I've found the blinds rising so quickly I'm in a bad position stack wise if I don't win a couple of big early hands. Any advice on playing the turbos? |

| I think you made a good move by folding aces. You had the best hand, but you are in underdog to win. Just to prove a point, here are some scenarios I ran in a poker calculator. Scenario 1: AA 44.6% KK 18.7% QQ 14% JJ 11.8% TT 10.5% Scenario 2: AA 45.3% JT 15.9% 5h9h 18.8% 6-2 10% K-7 10% As you can see, in both scenarios Aces will only win less than half the time. |

| wow . well didnt u see how it all played out and you should know who won, so if ur aces would of help up u made the bad choice but your aces were dominated then u made a good choice but on the other hand you were guarranteed into the money so you could think of that as a positive but you could of also busted them all and took first. |
