Hours a day.

How many hours a day are you guys playing poker? Ive kept track and since Friday night Ive played around 10 hours. Thats like 2 hours a day. Is that a obbsession or am I still at the norm?

Hmm lets see. There should be an easy formula for this... 24 hours a day-8 hours of sleep=16 hours of poker! Seriously though probly about 4 or 5 hours a day, sometimes more.

When i don't work, i play all time is possible.
From when i discovered on line poker no more tv or books.
I play also 7-8 hours a day.
My mother say i'm a crazy stupid, and it's true.

When i'm working i'll only play maybe an hour or two at night. when i'm not working i'll play on and off for most of the day, so about eight or nine hours.

On days when I have time, I've typically been playing an hour or two each evening (or during the day on weekends). Last time my husband was out of town, though, it was an all-weekend-long poker marathon!

If I play more than about five or six hours a day I being to tire of it. I don't know how those guys do it playing 8-10 a day for days at a time. I guess if it was my occupation, but so far it's still just for fun.

Over the past several months I have been averaging 3.2 hours a day. I keep detailed records of each session, so I know this is accurate. For me, this is too much...so I am taking a long break from the game.

Maybe 1-2 weeknights, a bit more on weekends... Depends what I'm doing.

Tonight, for instance, I have a live game, so none!

I try to keep my Monday to Thursday playing time down to about 5 hours in total. If I play for 3 hours one night, I will take afew hours off. I am up to 3 hours already this week and after tonights Titan freeroll I will be over my 5 hours, so Thursday will be an off day for me. Weekends are free game though. I will play anywhere from 2 hours to 24 hours from Friday evening to Sunday evening, depending on what is going on.

I've played a lot more, but I think anything after 8, your performance starts to go down. I think 4-6 is a good # if thats all you had to do that day

It depends how much my wife will let me, lol. I usually play 1-2hrs a night after I put the kids to bed, it's my way of winding down.
