Horse How do you feel ?? I have asked AP to label the felt with the game name for horse. Although they have told me on numerous occasions that they will fix it and that they will send it to programming, nothing has ever happened. When I play Horse, players who multitable have trouble knowing what is being played. Today, I was informed by customer service that they would never make this change without consulting with their players to determine if this is a good idea. Am I the sole player who thinks they can step it up like PS and label the damn tables for horseplayers? I hope someone reads this and provides some feedback.

I agree in full! Yeah I stopped using Absolute Poker over ... well lets say end of 2008 cause their software SUCKS... also they were supposed to merge with Ultimate Bet, but because of the scam and schemes that an insider at UB made over $60 million, they called it off. So yeah I closed my account and never looked back. However I do agree with you... get a list of people emails names screenames and start a petition... its a simple change in code, but they are too lazy to do it... If you haven't considered... move over to FullTilt.. Awesome promotions monthly awesome start up bonus, and way more players online than AP. Just my two cents, Moe

re: Horse How do you feel ?? poker Been a long time since I logged into Absolute. Gotta imaginre it's similar to Ultimate, At any rate, HORSE is HORSE. What isa so tricky? I mean why is it that other players are having a problem figuring it's HORSE? Maybe they need to pay the teensienst bit of attn.

What 'isa so tricky' is not knowing WHICH of the horse games is in play at that moment. I think what he is asking is for AP (and I guess UB) to put the GAME cycle on the table - like 'razz', 'stud', 'stud h/l' etc. Sure, figuring the HE and Omahaha is easy, but jumping tables a player can easily miss the 'switching to' box that announces a game switch. I can think of a few times over the years where I lost track and thought we were still on razz and folded something 'rolled up' or high pairs ... only to realize we had moved on to stud .. and I hadn't ... |

correct You are definately right. They should label which game is being played in horse. I and many others and probably anyone out there who has played horse have made the mistake in playing a hand as if it is stud hi when it is truly razz. Happens to us all. They should definately label the games especially when playing multi table. I hope they fix this problem, good luck to you

I'm with you. Some facts Absolute and UB are essentially merged, they are skins on common tables. I played at UB regularly (nightly) in the $20 horse game in late 08 and early 09 . Very successfully. Until something they did made it impossible to figure out what Stud game was in progress for the first few hands of a game change. Drove me to tears, and I too beat my head against their support, to no avail. I stopped playing those games there altogether. I check back every now and then hoping they will fix it, but I hold no expectations about that. Shame too, cuz the HORSE game at UB/AP had the best structure around.

It should be done without question. Since when did the poker sites really care what the players think. They normally do what they want so I guess their answer was just a fob off.

Should poker sites care about what their players want? Most of these sites produce and distribute newsletters marketing their interest in providing their players with that which the players desire. Have they been misleading us? Does this sound like Washington?

I kind of like that they don't have it posted on the table. It is too cool to have someone playing razz and raising with trips showing. I just sit back and collect as many chips as I can. I have been playing multi tables on a site with it posted on the table and still made the dumb mistake of not realizing it changed. lol
