| home tourney help alright today I need to run a poker tourney fora bachleor party poker and need some help. Theere is about 25-30 people playing and I need to decide how big to make starting stacks and blinds. The guys want the game to go fairly quick so you don have to sit a while. What do you guys think of 50 dollars in chip, 25 and 50 cent blinds to start and double them every 20 minutes? Will the game take too long or will it be too short? I dont want it to be like a turbo where whoever gets lucky the most wins (I know all turbos arent like that but the skill level on these players is mediocre to pretty decent) I want people to play poker and need skill but not to take too long. Sorry for the long winded post but if anyone could help or tell me what they would do id be much appreciative |
