Me and my buddies last night played a 3 dollar home game buyin. Totaled seven people. 21 to first place lol. small but fun!!! i have to say for three bucks and a 30 pack of mister budwiser the best fun any way i ended up taking it with my kings tripling up made me a massive chip leader and never lost it...i just wish i could do that at the card room a little more often. any way share some more home game stories.

Nice story. I have an annual new years tournament with only about 6-9 people and have won the last two years. It is like a 3 dollar buy in also but i think i'm going to raise the buy in to about 10 dollars. Going for the threepeat here in about 10 and a half months. Would be the first threepeat in my tournament history!

I won a 9 person tournament in three hands. True story.

All I remember, is an Ace high flush to knock out 4 the first hand, top set second hand to knock out 3, and called the last remaining guys all in with KJ and it held.

^^ congrats i also prefer home games or offline poker in general because it makes more fun, at online poker i always get boring because of sitting ahead the computer.

Well I've decided I will only play freerolls and live poker from now on. I can't stand online poker anymore. The DONK factor is so crazy it's killing me. I had 6 bad beats in 1 day today (along with a ROYAL FLUSH TODAY AS WELL).

I don't mind being bad beatn' by a good starting hand. At least he really thinks he has the best of it. I just can't stand for the j4o getting a full house and winning huge pots. It's almost impossible to put someone on J4 online. In person I can read at least. Online poker I play scared because I fear that some idiot is going to have some crazy hand.

that's why you're losing online, because ur scared. there only seems like there's more suckouts online because you play 5 times as many hands in a given period of time. if it wasn't for people chasing gut shot striaght draws, and occasionally hitting them, my bankroll would not be the size it is.

Unstoppable4 - make it a $5 buy w/ optional rebuys for the 1st X rounds. This makes it comfortable for the cheap entrants, but allows others to spend more if they choose.

The problem is the draws/donks are losing against you (and others), while they are winning against Brent (and others). So you+ have your hands hold up and think "this is great I'm raking in the $$ against donks", while Brent+ has his nuts cracked and is thinking "this sucks, I shelling out the $$ against donks".

i've lost plenty of time to donk suck outs but if i go all in with a 80% chance of winning im still going to lose 1 out 5 times, as i should.
