Hollywood Casino

So, for years, there has been talk about putting a big casino in Bonner Springs, Kansas (a very fast growing developing city).. right now, it has a huge mall with a very nice theatre; Sandstone Amphitheatre, where all the big concerts come to during the summer for an outdoor concert experience; Great Wolf Lodge, a $250 a night hotel with a nice arcade and large indoor waterpark; many big businesses; and the Kansas Speedway, where NASCAR has yearly events.

A couple of casinos have expressed interest in coming here, and brought it to the city.. but they are finally starting construction on a Hollywood Casino in Bonner Springs, Kansas, next to the speedway.

My question is.. I have never been to a Hollywood Casino before.. for those who have been to one, how do you like it? Hollywood Casino in Kansas City/Bonner Springs is suppose to be ready to open in 2012.

The Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg IN (Cincy area) is very nice. Pretty decently run room and good action.

sure enough. its a damn nice room and is sure to be a boon to the area.. i wouldnt be suprised if they try to get the wpt there too.

How is "'bonner springs" pronounced? I'm having trouble with it.

Bonner as in Bonner and Springs as in Springs, what other way can it be pronounced.


And if your still confused try Bon-ner Springs

Hollywood Casinos is based in PA. Penn Gaming is the parent company. Which one in PA were you referring to? The Harrisburg location?

I agree. Another fine thing about the poker room is that it is quiet, an escalator ride away from the mind-numbing cacophony of the rest of the casino.

My feeling is, if you've been to one casino you've been to 'em all.
