Holdem starting hands rubbish bin

Ok, I'd like to create a bin to throw any hands in that although they look fantastic, they just don't seem to do the business for you like they should:
AQ suited/unsuited:I've given up playing this hand like a killer hand, as it hardly ever hits for me on the flop, and when the Ace does come, there seems to be always someone holding the AK. From now, most of the time anyway, I'll just limp with this hand.
JJ: should be a killer pocket pair, but almost all the time I bet big with it PF there will be overcards on the flop, and always someone holding the matching one. These 2 jacks get me into too much trouble too many times, gonna treat them like a medium pair from now on.
Over to you!

Well, I raise on A, Q and Pocket Jacks anytime. The one hand I've always hated because I NEVER have won with it is K, Q. I rather have K, J. I only limp in with K, Q or maybe raise If I'm the Big Blind and there are a few limpers.

I think the thing is that some people overvalue certain hands.
AQ is a great starting hand, but there is a reason it's called a trouble hand.
Same thing with KQ, KJ etc
You want to raise with these hands, but if someone comes over the top - FOLD
If you get a caller, then he bets the flop and you haven't hit a solid hand then muck it.
KQ KJ QJ type hands are only really good when you're in LP and are first to enter the pot.
You want to be the aggressor and take the pot down.
As for JJ, it's a great starting hand. Again i think you might overvalue it, K.D.
I would raise JJ in EP without hesitation. Though as with AQ and AJ type hands, if you get reraised you should probably fold.

K-Q seems to be the hand that kicks me the hardest. Never fails that I will hit 1 or many times both, just for some tool to get a pair of 4s on the board while he played 9-4 on 5X BB pre-flop

Yep, agree with KQ, it's not too bad if both cards hit, but you can bet that the next card will either be a J, 10, or an Ace, and someones sat there with the straight!
Oh I agree Chuck, if someone reraises your Jacks then its time to think about folding, problem is, sometimes I go to fold and think no, those Jacks just look too damn good so I call instead, and get busted!

I learned this lesson the hard way in a live tournament, when my AQ came up against KK. I should've known better than to call his re-raise (and even as I called, I was thinking I should fold--what's up with that??). So yeah, don't think the world begins and ends with these hands...proceed with caution.
