HOLDEM LOTTO

with the increase in the number of online players lotto is now the new sheriff in town. its to the point that on most hands it cost u half your chips to see the flop . Even though you have a strong hand if you call the odd say you will lose to a donk hand..something like 4 7 off suit... this is becoming the standard of poker ..I guess the question is how can we let poker come to this .. the only time i get a good game is playing for cash but it still pains me at the attitude the goes with the freerolls like "it didnt cost you anything". I suppose the thing is that its a moral issue learn to play poker or quit . It dont take five hours to decide if you want to check , bet , or fold... how do you guys feel about this .... I just needed to vent...

How can you bemoan the state of poker when u are using freerolls as the test subject. FR will never be taken seriously because they cost nothing. If you want to be in a good game then risk your own money and buy in but dont go on about how poker has gone to the dogs. It hasnt only freerolls are a joke real money games whilst being suspect at lower buy ins get better as you moive up

This was a quote from my original post iI can imagine that you would be one of the players to go all in with a 4 7 off suit ... i am not putting anything down but if you want to learn learn is all i am saying don't be content with saying oh i havent had a good hand in 45 min i'll just go all in or raise a pot so high pre flop that all you win is 30 friggen chips. poker is an art i am far from being a master of but i was venting my fusteration.

Free rolls ARE essentially playing the lotto....wouldn't you agree? I really don't see how you can complain about bad play when no one paid anything to enter and have nothing to lose. I guess you CAN complain, but its old hat...rendering it useless. ?
