Hold Em On A Mac
I was Wondering if there were any other sites that run on Mac?
The two that I know of are FullTilt, and BugsyClub, and I honeslty am sick of both. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. Thanks! |

I run a mac and use virtual pc and I play anywhere. But the only mac compatible site I know of is Full Tilt. Pokerstars is working on mac software and has beta software for testing now. I am currently testing the beta. They have a few problems when it comes to software updates but they are working it out . I got an email the other day from support saying that in a few weeks they will be releasing the .net software to the public. Note: play chips only.
but once thats released I'm sure the .com software (real money) will be a few months behind. So Poker Stars for mac is coming.... I've contacted ultimate bet and they have no plans to create a mac client in the near future. So if you have a power pc mac get virtual pc for mac, if you have an intel mac get bootcamp (free) or parallels (not free) and you can play anywhere. Good luck. |

Thanks for the info guys, and no i don't like the software on either of these, That bugsy club is really cheap and fake looking, and it also seams pretty rigged to me. Full Tilt, I like it but I started out on pokerstars and perffer it still over all. I'll see about the Beta version, Thanks again!

I use WMware Fusion to run Windows XP on Mac
I play on Bodog and PokerStars using their Windows XP software on an Intel Macbook and WMware Fusion software.
VMware's Fusion product allows for a running of a virtual machine where XP is the operating system. The software for both sites operates great. I have trouble telling the difference between the virtual machine and a real XP machine. |

Ok so I got Parrallels (or however you spell it) Like a month ago. I bought the windows disk to run it and all, but it doesn't work. Is there a certain disk I need to buy to run it on the program? I tried asking the information line, but they were no help at all, and wanted to charge me for the call. So I figured I'd ask you guys, since you use it and all.

If you want to run Windows XP on an Intel Mac, you need Paralells Desktop for Mac V3.0. This version allows you to host a virtual Windows machine on a Mac. If you tried to load the Windows version on the Mac it would not work. |
