Snail mail, or email?

Back in those halcyon days before UIGEA, I used to get software CDs in my mailbox as a fairly reg'lar thing. Don't remember if I ever got anything from BETUS, but Party, Empire, PissAwayYourBoodle, yadayada, used to send them out like any other bulk junk mail. I tried making ashtrays outta some, with mixed results.
